Ivolga (train)
The Ivolga (named after "иволга" bird, e.g. Eurasian golden oriole), designation ''EG2Tv'', is an electric multiple unit passenger train produced and manufactured by Tver Carriage Works (TVZ) for urban and commuter service. First 2 trains were in use on Moscow railways — Novoperedelkino express route in 2017 — 2018 before extension of the Moscow Metro . Since 2018, they are working on Usovo branch of Belorussky suburban railway line in preparation for launch of Moscow Central Diameters D1 Line. The exterior and interior styling, however, was outsourced: TVZ ordered the design of the concept train to Integral Design and Development, S.A. company (Barcelona, Spain). A natural scale mock-up was built by Integral Design and presented in Russia in 2015. Tver ( rus, Тверь, p=tvʲerʲ) is a city and the administrative centre of Tver Oblast, Russia. It is northwest of Moscow. Population: Tver was formerly the capital of a powerful medieval state and a model provincial town in the Russian Empire, with a population of 60,000 on 14 January 1913. Moscow Central Diameters
The Moscow Central Diameters (MCD) (russian: links=no, Московские центральные диаметры (МЦД), Moskovskiye tsentralnye diametry (MTsD)) are a system of city train services on existing commuter rail lines in Moscow and Moscow Oblast, Russia. The system began operation on 21 November 2019, when the first two lines were launched. After first 9.5 months of operation, the passenger traffic of the Moscow Central Diameters reached 100 million. On 27 December 2019, passengers made record 554.6 thousand trips. Lines Line D3 is planned to be launched in August 2023. D4 will be launch in September. The schedule for the development of the infrastructure of the Central Transport Hub in 2023 was signed by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and head of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov in December 2022. The Kiyevsky suburban railway line (russian: Киевское направление Московской железной дороги) is one of eleven suburban lines used for suburban railway connections between Moscow, Russia, and surrounding areas in Moscow Oblast and Kaluga Oblast.
