Ivar Skippervold
Ivar Skippervold (born 14 March 1949) is a Norwegian singer and musician. He hails from Oslo, but moved to Lillesand as an adult. He took up music at an early age, and his first self-made music was protest songs. He became Christian out of a "religious yearning", and his protest songs got a Christian tinge. His first solo record, ''Hiroshima og spurven'', came in 1975. He had already, in 1972, formed the gospel group '' Frisk Luft'' together with Rune Larsen, Arnold Børud and Kjell Fjalsett. The group formed by coincidence when Larsen and Børud, performing at Hedmarktoppen, spotted Fjalsett and Skippervold in the audience and invited them onto the stage. ''Frisk Luft'' released two LPs in the 1970s, and participated in a television show named ''Gospelkveld'' ('Gospel Evening'). ''Frisk Luft'' was said to be the first Christian supergroup in Norway. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. The municipality of Oslo had a population of in 2022, while the city's greater urban area had a population of in 2019, and the metropolitan area had an estimated population of in 2021. During the Viking Age the area was part of Viken. TV 2 (Norway)
TV 2 (''TV to'') is a Norwegian terrestrial television channel. Its headquarters are located in Bergen. TV 2 began test broadcasting on 13 November 1991, and a year later, it was officially launched on 5 September 1992, becoming Norway's first commercial free-to-air television channel. Thorbjørn Egner (12 December 1912 – 24 December 1990) was a Norway, Norwegian playwright, songwriter and illustrator known principally for his books, plays and musicals for children. He is principally associated with his narratives for children including ''Karius og Baktus'' (1949) and ''People and Robbers of Cardemon Town, Folk og røvere i Kardemomme by '' (1955). Biography He grew up in the working-class neighbourhood Kampen, Norway, Kampen in Oslo, Norway. His parents were Magnus Egner (1872–1952) and Anna Hansen (1874–1957). He was trained as an artist at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry under Eivind Nielsen and Per Krohg 1933–34. He started his career in advertising. Over a seven year period, he was employed as a designer and decorator at the advertising firm Høydahl Ohme A/S. Ansgar
Ansgar (8 September 801 – 3 February 865), also known as Anskar, Saint Ansgar, Saint Anschar or Oscar, was Archbishop of Hamburg-Bremen in the northern part of the Kingdom of the East Franks. Ansgar became known as the "Apostle of the North" because of his travels and the See of Hamburg received the missionary mandate to bring Christianity to Northern Europe.
