Ivan Paunić
Ivan Paunić ( sr-cyr, Иван Паунић; born January 27, 1987) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Russian team PBC Lokomotiv-Kuban, Lokomotiv Kuban of the VTB United League, and of the EuroCup Basketball, EuroCup until the team was suspended due to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. He also represented the Serbia national basketball team, Serbian national basketball team internationally. Professional career Paunić began playing basketball at a professional level in the Adriatic League when he was a teenager, beginning with Serbian club KK Partizan, Partizan in the 2004–05 season. He spent next season on loan at KK Mega Vizura, Mega Ishrana and KK Mornar, Mornar. In 2006 he was sent to KK Vojvodina Srbijagas, Vojvodina Srbijagas. He spent two seasons in Vojvodina, and then in 2008 went to BC Oostende, Oostende. In December 2009 he goes to Greece and signed with Aris B.C., Aris Thessaloniki. Astana Basketball Club ( kk, Astana Basketbol Kluby), commonly referred to as BC Astana, is a Kazakh professional basketball club that is based in Astana, Kazakhstan. The Universiade is an international multi-sport event, organized for university athletes by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The name is a portmanteau of the words "University" and "Olympiad". The 2009 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 2009, was the 36th FIBA EuroBasket regional basketball championship held by FIBA Europe. The tournament, which was hosted by Poland, began on 7 September and concluded with the final on 20 September 2009. The Montenegrin Basketball Cup is an annual cup competition for Montenegrin basketball teams held since 2007. YUBA League
The YUBA League was the top-tier men's professional basketball league in Serbia and Montenegro (previously FR Yugoslavia). Founded in 1992 and folded in 2006, it was run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia and Montenegro. The name ''YUBA League'' (Yugoslav Basketball Association League) was used in Serbia and Montenegro until 2005. It consisted of the first-stage "First League", and the second-stage "Super League", with each having their own men's and women's divisions. PBC Lokomotiv Kuban (russian: ПБК «Локомотив Кубань») is a Russian professional basketball team based in Krasnodar. The club participates in the VTB United League.
