Iurie Leancă
Iurie Leancă (; born 20 October 1963) is a Moldovan politician who was the Prime Minister of Moldova from 2013 until 2015. He was Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration from 2009 to 2013 as part of the First and Second Filat Cabinet. Early career Iurie Leancă was born on 20 October 1963 in Cimișlia. His father is Moldovan and his mother Bulgarian. He graduated from Moscow State Institute of International Relations and from 1986 until 1993, Leancă worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. European People's Party Of Moldova
The European People's Party of Moldova ( ro, Partidul Popular European din Moldova, PPEM) is a centre-right political party in Moldova. The party is led by Iurie Leancă, who was Prime Minister of Moldova from 2013 to 2015. For the duration of this premiership, Leancă was a member of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM). History The government of Moldova which emerged from coalition talks after the 2014 parliamentary election did not command a parliamentary majority and relied on support from the Moldovan Communist party (PCRM). The PLDM, led by former Prime Minister Vlad Filat, conceded Leancă's departure from office to the PCRM as part of this arrangement. Dumitru Braghiș (; born December 28, 1957, the village of Grătieşti, today suburb of Chișinău) is a Moldovan political figure. He is the current Moldovan Ambassador to China and Vietnam, appointed in mid-2020. He was the Prime Minister of Moldova from 1999 until 2001. Vladimir Voronin (; born 25 May 1941) is a Soviet and Moldovan politician. He was the third president of Moldova from 2001 until 2009 and has been the First Secretary of the Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova (PCRM) since 1994. He was Europe's first democratically elected communist party head of state after the dissolution of the Eastern Bloc. Petru Lucinschi (; born 27 January 1940) is a former Moldovan politician who was Moldova's second President (1997–2001). Biography Early life and education Petru Lucinschi was born on 27 January 1940 in Rădulenii Vechi village, Soroca County, Kingdom of Romania (now Florești district) into the family of Kirill Vasilievich Lucinschi. Lucinschi carries a transcribed version of the Polish surname Łuczyński, but has never publicly identified with a Polish heritage. In 1962, he graduated from Chisinau State University. Marian Lupu (; born 20 June 1966) is a Moldovan politician who was the President of the Parliament of Moldova between 2010 and 2013. Natalia Gherman (; born 20 March 1969) is a Moldovan politician, who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova from May 2013 to January 2016. She has served as Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Central Asia (UNRCCA) since 2017.
