Iuliu Hajnal
Iuliu Hajnal (born 30 August 1951) is a Romanian former international footballer who played as a midfielder. International career He earned 12 international caps for Romania scoring 3 goals, making his debut under coach Angelo Niculescu when he came as a substitute and replaced Flavius Domide in the 75th minute of a friendly which ended 3–3 against Italy in which he scored the final goal of the game. His following two goals were in two friendlies, a 4–1 victory against Japan and a 2–2 against the Soviet Union. Hajnal also played two games at the 1973–76 Balkan Cup, one at the 1977–80 Balkan Cup and in a 1–1 against Scotland at the Euro 1976 qualifiers. Suplacu de Barcău ( hu, Berettyószéplak, sk, Siplak) is a commune in Bihor County, Crișana, Romania with a population of 4,356. 1977–80 Balkan Cup
The 1977–80 Balkan Cup, was the 12th Balkan Cup football tournament. It was the first to have a group stage involving the five teams split into two groups, one of three teams and the other of two, with the winner of each one meeting in the final. It was played between February 1977 and August 1980 between Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia and Greece. The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. The Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1, is a Romanian professional league for men's association football clubs. Currently sponsored by betting company Superbet, it is officially known as the SuperLiga. It is the country's top football competition, being contested by 16 clubs which take part in a promotion and relegation system with the Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table. Stadionul Farul
Stadionul Farul is a multi-purpose stadium in Constanța, Romania. It was used mostly for football matches and until 2022 was the home ground of Farul Constanța. The stadium had also functions as an athletics arena, with track and field athletics facilities. The stadium was closed in 2022 and is proposed for demolition, also a new stadium is in plan to be built, on the same site. In 1970, Stadionul Farul was the first stadium in Romania to host a floodlit football match. The stadium has played host to the Romania national football team, in the World Cup 2006 Qualification, UEFA Euro 2008 qualifying and 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification.
