Itele, or Ijebu-Itele, is a town in the Ogun (state), Ogun state of Nigeria, about from Abuja, the country's capital. The community is part of Ijebu-East LGA. It is considered a traditional state because it is headed by a king (Oba) with the royal title of Moyegeso, a part II Oba as stated in the official gazette in 1990 of the Ogun State Government. The incumbent is Oba Mufutau Adesanya Kasali Iboriaran I. People The town produced one of the foremost Chartered Accountants in Nigeria, a former president of ICAN Otunba Adedoyin Olaide Ogunde, who also was a partner at KPMG Peat Marwick Ani Ogunde &co. Mufutau Adesanya Kasali
Mufutau Adesanya Kasali MFR is the present Oba Moyegeso of Itele in Ijebu-East, Ogun State, Nigeria. Early life and education Mufutau Adesanya Kasali was born on 13 December 1943. He attended Ijebu Ode Grammar School in Ijebu Ode from 1961 to 1966 for his secondary education. He later proceeded to the University of Lagos where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1972. He is a trained engineer and also a member of Nigerian Society of Engineers. Career He worked as a senior engineer with the old National Electrical Power Authority (NEPA), now Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) until his retirement. Selection and coronation He was unanimously selected from the Ishagbola Ruling House as the Oba Moyegeso of Itele-Elect in 2000. Namadi Sambo
Mohammed Namadi Sambo (born 2 August 1954) is a Nigerian politician who was Vice President of Nigeria from 19 May 2010 to 29 May 2015. He previously served as Governor of Kaduna State from 2007 to 2010. Early life Namadi was born on 2 August 1954 in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. He attended Baptist Primary School in Kakuri, Kaduna, before attending Kobi Primary School in Bauchi State, Bauchi and Towns School No. 1 in Zaria. From 1967 until 1971, he attended Government Secondary School (now Alhuda-Huda College), in Zaria. Awujale is the royal title of the king of the Ijebu Kingdom. The holder is addressed as the Awujale of Ijebuland. The present Awujale is Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona Ogbagba II. He is from the House of Anikinaiya. Ijebu-Ode is a town in Ogun State, Nigeria, South Western geopolitical zone in Nigeria, close to the A121 highway (Nigeria), A121 highway. Obanta
Obanta (originally Ogborogan) was the third king of the Ijebu kingdom who reigned in the 14th century in what is now Ogun State, Nigeria. Obanta led a migration of people from Ile Ife to become the King in Ijebu Ode after his maternal grandfather, Oba (King) Olu Iwa, the first Awujale of Ijebu Ode, died. On arriving at Ijebu, the inhabitants welcomed him warmly, shouting "oba wa nita" meaning "the king is outside" in the Yoruba language. This is how Ogborogan became known as Obanta. Obanta's descendants continued to hold the royal title of Awujale, though his power was limited by his chiefs and councils.
