Itay Goldfaden ( he, איתי גולדפדן; born 24 April 1996) is an Israeli swimmer. Career He represented Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Israel At The 2020 Summer Olympics
Israel competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo with its largest contingent to date − a delegation of 90 athletes, 55 men and 35 women, who competed in 15 different sports. This was almost double the previous number of 47 athletes who represented Israel at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics. The Games were also Israel's most successful to date, winning four medals, including two gold. At Tokyo, Israel marked its Olympic debuts in surfing (new to the 2020 Games), baseball (returning to the Games), archery, equestrian and marathon swimming. Israel returned home from Tokyo with two gold and two bronze medals, a record number of medals won by Israel in one Olympics. South Carolina Gamecocks Swimming And Diving
The South Carolina Gamecocks represent the University of South Carolina in the NCAA Division I. The University of South Carolina uses "Gamecocks" as its official nickname and mascot. While the men's teams were traditionally known as the Fighting Gamecocks and the women's teams were previously known as the Lady Gamecocks, this distinction was discontinued in part to eliminate any gender bias in the athletic department and in part to counter misconceptions about the gamecock mascot endorsing bloodsport. All of the University's varsity teams compete at the Division I level of the NCAA, and all but men's soccer and women's beach volleyball compete in the Southeastern Conference. Men's soccer competes in the Sun Belt Conference and women's beach volleyball competes in the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association because the SEC does not sponsor those sports. The mixed 4 × 100 metre medley relay event at the 2020 Summer Olympics was held in 2021 at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre. These Games marked the first time to feature a mixed-gender swimming event in the program. Each 4-person team features two male and two female swimmers in no particular order.
