Italian (''italiano'' or ) is a Romance language of the Indo-European language family that evolved from the Vulgar Latin of the Roman Empire. Together with Sardinian, Italian is the least divergent language from Latin. Spoken by about 85 million people (2022), Italian is an official language in Italy, Switzerland (Ticino and the Grisons), San Marino, and Vatican City. It has an official minority status in western Istria (Croatia and Slovenia). L’Italiano
''L'Italiano'' was a weekly literary and arts magazine that existed between 1926 and 1942 in Italy. Its full title was ''L'italiano: rivista settimanale della gente fascista''. It is one of the magazines founded and edited by the well-known Italian journalist Leo Longanesi. Its subtitle was ''Foglio della Rivoluzione Fascista'' (Italian: ''Publication of the Fascist Revolution''), and its motto was "Mussolini is always right" which was also adopted and employed by the Fascist regime. History and profile ''L'Italiano'' was established by Leo Longanesi in Bologna in 1926. Its first issue appeared on 14 January that year. In the initial period it was published on a biweekly basis, and the first eight issues heavily covered political writings. From 1927 L'Italiano Editore founded by Leo Longanesi became the publisher of ''L'Italiano''. ''Italiana'' is a double studio album by Italian singer Mina, released in November 1982 by PDU and distributed by EMI Italiana. Overview Like Mina's other material, this album came out as a double LP on first release. Thereafter the record was available as two separate albums with the titles of "Vol. 1" "vol. 2", while maintaining the same track list of the two original discs and the same cover. "Sweet Transvestite" is a cover of a song from the soundtrack of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. "Marrakesh" is the Italian version of the 1975 song "Qualquer coisa" by Caetano Veloso. Sueca (meaning ''Swedish (female)'' in Portuguese) is a 4 player-partnership point trick-taking card game of the Ace-Ten family, and a popular variant of the Bisca card game. The game is played in Portugal, Brazil, Angola and other Portuguese communities. Its closest relative is the very similar German game Einwerfen. Sueca is, by far, the most played game in Portugal. It is frequently known as the Portuguese national card game. History Very little is known about the origins of Sueca. The rules of the game are passed down generationally, but vary slightly from region to region in Portugal, its archipelagos of Madeira and Azores and its former colonial territories of Brazil, Angola and Mozambique. Vincenzo Italiano
Vincenzo Italiano (born 10 December 1977) is an Italian football manager, who is currently in charge of Serie A club Fiorentina, and a former player. Playing career Born in Karlsruhe, Germany to Italian parents, Italiano never played professionally in Germany, instead playing his full career in Italian football. He was a versatile midfielder, known for his tackling and passing. He played for Genoa and (for most of his career) Hellas Verona first in Serie A and later, in Serie B. He made his debut in Serie A with Hellas Verona and then appeared in Serie A again, albeit briefly, with cross-city rivals Chievo on 14 January 2007 against Catania.
