''Italiana'' is a double studio album by Italian singer Mina, released in November 1982 by PDU and distributed by EMI Italiana. Overview Like Mina's other material, this album came out as a double LP on first release. Thereafter the record was available as two separate albums with the titles of "Vol. 1" "vol. 2", while maintaining the same track list of the two original discs and the same cover. "Sweet Transvestite" is a cover of a song from the soundtrack of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. "Marrakesh" is the Italian version of the 1975 song "Qualquer coisa" by Caetano Veloso. The songs "Il cigno dell'amore" and "Senza fiato" were covered by Turkish singer Ajda Pekkan (respectively as "Son Yolcu" and "Düşünme Hiç" in Turkish) for her album ''Süperstar '83'' (1983). Mina Anna Maria Mazzini (born 25 March 1940) or Mina Anna Quaini (for the Swiss civil registry), known mononymously as Mina, is an Italian-Swiss singer and actress. She was a staple of television variety shows and a dominant figure in Italian pop music from the 1960s to the mid-1970s, known for her three-octave vocal range, the agility of her soprano voice, and her image as an Feminism, emancipated woman. Andrea Lo Vecchio (7 October 1942 – 17 February 2021) was an Italian composer, lyricist, record producer, singer-songwriter and entrepreneur. Electronic drums is a modern electronic musical instrument, primarily designed to serve as an alternative to an acoustic drum kit. Electronic drums consist of an electronic sound module which produces the synthesized or sampled percussion sounds and a set of 'pads', usually constructed in a shape to resemble drums and cymbals, which are equipped with electronic sensors (or triggers) to send an electronic signal to the sound module which outputs a sound to the player. Umberto Bindi
Umberto Bindi (12 May 1932 – 23 May 2002) was an Italian singer-songwriter. He is especially known for the popular song he co-wrote with Gino Paoli, ''Il Mio Mondo'' ("You're My World"), which he recorded in Italian in 1963. It was later performed by singers in English and other languages. Life and career Bindi was born in Bogliasco (Province of Genoa), Italy, and was classically trained. Sergio Bardotti
Sergio Bardotti (14 February 1939 – 11 April 2007) was an Italian lyricist, composer and record producer. Life and career Born in Pavia, Bardotti studied piano for seven years and graduated from conservatory with a degree in Theory and Solfeggio. After having performed in nightclubs with the stage name Sergio Dotti, he moved to Rome, employed by RCA for his literary branch. His first song as lyricist was "La nostra casa", which was released as B-side of the Gino Paoli's hit "Sapore di sale", launching his musical career. Caetano Emanuel Viana Teles Veloso (; born 7 August 1942) is a Brazilian composer, singer, guitarist, writer, and political activist. Francisco Buarque de Hollanda (born 19 June 1944), popularly known simply as Chico Buarque, is a Brazilian singer-songwriter, guitarist, composer, playwright, writer, and poet. He is best known for his music, which often includes social, economic, and cultural reflections on Brazil.
