István György (director)
István György (1899–1958) was a Hungarian screenwriter, film editor and film director. Politically he was associated with right-wing nationalism.Khatib p.34 He began his career in the silent era. Like many filmmakers he made no films after the fall of the Horthy regime and the subsequent establishment of Communist Hungary. Lina Khatib
Lina Khatib is a Visiting Scholar at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Middle East Initiative and an Associate Fellow at Chatham House’s Middle East and North Africa Programme, where she previously served as director. She is the former Director of the SOAS Middle East Institute at SOAS University of London, where she was MBI Al Jaber Chair in Middle East Studies and Professor of Practice in the Department of Politics and International Studies.
