Isolde Mathilde Liebherr (born 10 July 1949, Memmingen, Germany) is a German-Swiss billionaire entrepreneur and vice chairman of Liebherr Group. Life and education Born in Memmingen, Isolde Liebherr grew up in the Upper Swabian village of Kirchdorf and Biberach as the fourth of five children of company founder Hans Liebherr. After graduation high school, she completed a degree in economics and achieved the academic degree Diplom-Kauffrau. She is the mother of three daughters and lives in Bulle, Switzerland. Career After earning her management degree in 1976, she joined her father's company. In the mid seventies, she took over the services division within the Liebherr Group and was responsible for the hotels and other properties of the company. Memmingen (; Swabian: ''Memmenge'') is a town in Swabia, Bavaria, Germany. It is the economic, educational and administrative centre of the Danube-Iller region. Equestrian competitions at the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics were held from 9 August to 21 August at the Hong Kong Sports Institute and Sheung Yue River in Hong Kong. It was the second time that the equestrian events were hosted by a member of the IOC other than the member hosting the main games (although this time the events were technically held in the same country as the main games). Christina Liebherr
Christina Liebherr (born 16 March 1979) is a German-born Swiss equestrian who competes in the sport of show jumping. She won the bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in team jumping following the disqualification of Norwegian rider Tony André Hansen. Career Christina Liebherr began riding at the age of nine. From December 1995 till August 2011 she was trained by German Rider Susanne Behring. Markus Fuchs (equestrian)
Markus Fuchs (born 23 June 1955 in Abtwil, Switzerland) is a Swiss show jumper who competed at five Olympics between 1988 and 2004. He was part of the Swiss team that won silver at the 2000 Olympics. He is, jointly with shooter Gabriele Bühlmann, the seventh Swiss sportsperson to compete at five Olympics, after middle-distance runner Paul Martin, equestrians Henri Chammartin and Gustav Fischer, javelin thrower Urs von Wartburg, equestrian Christine Stückelberger, and Alpine skier Paul Accola. At the European Show Jumping Championships, he came second in the individual event in 1999 on Tinka's Boy. He was also part of the Swiss teams that won gold in 1995, silver in 1999 and 2005, and bronze in 1987, 1989, 1991, and 2003. Fuchs announced his retirement from competition on 6 June 2009.
