Ishwarganj Bisweswari Government Pilot High School ( bn, ঈশ্বরগঞ্জ বিশ্বেশ্বরী সরকারী পাইলট উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়) is a secondary school in Ishwarganj Upazila, Mymensingh District, Bangladesh. It was founded in 1916 by Kishore Roy Chowdhury. There are approximately 1,500 students currently enrolled. Admission Generally, admission is permitted in class six once a year. There is no eligibility criteria to sit the admission test. Students who perform well in the test are usually admitted. Campus The school has two main academic buildings. One is four storeyed and other is two storeyed. It has a big playground where students play and enjoy games at afternoon. From the school, one can see the small river Kanchamatia. Ishwarganj Upazila
Ishwarganj ( bn, ঈশ্বরগঞ্জ) is an upazila of the Mymensingh District in Bangladesh. History The seventeenth century was important to the development of Ishwarganj. The Bhulsoma Mosque was established in 1600 and 25 years after that, the Naluapara Mosque was also constructed. In 1936, Pitalganj was established as a thana. It was renamed to Ishwarganj in honour of a patriotic boatman known as Ishwari Patni. During the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971, six Bengali freedom fighters were killed on 16 October in a face-off against the Pakistan Army. On 9 December, Ishwarganj was liberated. Abdul Hye Mashreki
Abdul Hye Mashreki (1 April 1919 – 4 December 1988) was a Bangladeshi folk litterateur and poet. He is known for his writing in the 1930s and 1940s. He mainly focused the lifestyle of the rural people of Bengal. Some notable works of him include ''Rakhal Bondhu'', ''Jarina Sundari'', ''Allah Megh De Chaya De'', ''Fande Poriya Boga Kande Re'', ''Amar Kakher Kolshi'', ''He Amar Desh'' and ''Kichu Rekhe Jete Chai''. Jasimuddin ( bn, জসীম উদ্‌দীন; 1 January 1903 – 13 March 1976), popularly called Palli Kabi (), was a Bengali poet, lyricist, composer and writer widely celebrated for his modern ballad sagas in the pastoral mode. Although his full name is Jasim Uddin Mollah, he is known as Jasim Uddin. His '' Nakshi Kanthar Math'' and '' Sojan Badiar Ghat'' are considered among the best lyrical poems in the Bengali language. Bande Ali Mia (17 January 1906 – 27 June 1979) was a Bangladeshi poet, lyricist, novelist, dramatist, essayist, children’s writer and journalist. He was awarded the Bangla Academy Literary Award in 1962 and Ekushey Padak in 1988. Early life and career Mia was born in Radhanagar, Pabna. He passed the entrance examination in 1923 from the Majumder Academy. He then studied painting at the Indian Art Academy in Calcutta in 1927.
