Ishfaq Nadeem Ahmad
Lieutenant General Ishfaq Nadeem Ahmad (Urdu: اشفاق ندیم احمد; died 24 September 2021) HI(M), was a retired three star rank Pakistan Army general who served as Corps Commander II Corps of the Pakistan Army. He previously served as Chief of General Staff and Director-General of Military Operations. Lieutenant General Ahmad was second on the seniority list (after Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Zubair Hayat) in 2016 of being Chief of Army Staff, but then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif appointed Lt Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, who was the inspector general training and evaluation at that time, as the army chief. Hilal-e-Imtiaz
The ''Hilaal-e-Imtiaz'' (; ), also spelled and transliterated as Hilāl-e-Imtiyāz, is the second-highest (in the hierarchy of "Hilal") Awards and decorations of the Pakistan military, civilian award and honour given to both civilians and military Officer (armed forces), officers of the Pakistan Armed Forces by the Government of Pakistan. General Raheel Sharif (Urdu: ; born 16 June 1956), is a retired four-star army general of the Pakistan Army who served as the 9th Chief of Army Staff from 29 November 2013 to 29 November 2016. Staff College, Camberley, Surrey, was a staff college for the British Army and the presidency armies of British India (later merged to form the Indian Army). It had its origins in the Royal Military College, High Wycombe, founded in 1799, which in 1802 became the Senior Department of the new Royal Military College. In 1858 the name of the Senior Department was changed to "Staff College", and in 1870 this was separated from the Royal Military College.
