Isaac Kungwane
Isaac Ramaitsane "Shakes" Kungwane (2 February 1971 – 28 May 2014) was a South African football midfielder who played for Kaizer Chiefs, Jomo Cosmos, Pretoria City and Manning Rangers. During his spell at Kaizer Chiefs he wore the number 11 jersey after Nelson Dladla. Club career Kungwane, a staunch Orlando Pirates fan, started playing at Alexandra Blackpool and was spotted by Vincent Williams, the head of Kaizer Chiefs development. He started out professionally at Jomo Cosmos often being overshadowed by Thomas Madigage and August Makalakalane. He left after a loan spell to Milan FC and joined Chiefs where Nelson Dladla gave him the number 11. Kungwane snubbed an offer a few years earlier when Mamelodi Sundowns' Zola Mahobe failed to lure him with a briefcase of money. Kungwane played made his debut on 28 March 1991 against Hellenic FC. Mamelodi Sundowns
Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club (simply known as Sundowns) is a South African professional football club based in Mamelodi, Pretoria in the Gauteng province that plays in the Premier Soccer League, the first tier of South African football league system. Founded in the 1970s, the team plays its home games in the Loftus Versfeld Stadium and Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium. Sundowns have won the Premier League title a record 12 times since its inception in 1996, hold the joint record of 3 National Soccer League Championships and have won 15 league titles in total. David Nyathi
David Sibusiso Nyathi (born 22 March 1969) is a retired South African soccer player, who is currently the assistant coach at Ajax Cape Town, and previously coached their under-19 team. Career Nyathi started playing professional football for Dangerous Darkies who were promoted to the NSL in the 1991 season. They were relegated into obscurity after one season in the top flight and "Going Up", as he was affectionately known, joined Orlando Pirates. He became part of the first Bafana Bafana squad upon the country's return to international football in 1992. He moved on to Cape Town Spurs where he won the league and cup double in 1995. He later moved to Europe where he played for a few teams, including FC St. Gallen (Switzerland), Ankaragücü (Turkey), CD Tenerife (Spain) and Cagliari Calcio (Italy). Calvin Marlin
Calvin Donovan Marlin (born 20 April 1976 in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape) is a retired South African football goalkeeper who works as a goalkeeping coach for Cape Town City. He played club football for Michau Warriors, Seven Stars, Ajax Cape Town, SuperSport United, Mamelodi Sundowns and Mpumalanga Black Aces as well as representing South Africa internationally. Gordon Igesund (born 22 July 1956) is a former South African football player and coach who was most recently the manager of Highlands Park in the Premier Soccer League. Early life Igesund was born in Durban to George Norman Igesund (born 1932) who Igesund was named after. His family lived in Port Shepstone where former Arsenal player Danny Le Roux lived. Coaching career Igesund is a record-breaking coach in South Africa, having become the only man to coach four different top-flight teams to the Premier Soccer League championship.
