Irvin William Akerley
Irvin William Akerley, (24 November 1904 – 11 March 1995) was a Nova Scotia businessman and politician. Born in Pugwash, Nova Scotia, the son of Harry and Margaret MacLeod Akerley, he was a businessman in Dartmouth running his own businesses and working for others. In 1955, he was elected the first mayor of Dartmouth. He resigned to run for a seat in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly in the 1963 election and was elected as a Progressive Conservative representative for the district of Halifax County Dartmouth. He served in the Executive Council of Nova Scotia as Minister of Agriculture, and Minister of Highways. He was re-elected in the 1967 election in the new Dartmouth South riding. He was defeated when he ran for re-election in 1970 and later became Chairman of the Dartmouth General Hospital. Irvin Abernathy
Irvin Valentine Abernathy (August 23, 1852 – February 4, 1925) was a Democratic member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing Chickasaw County, from 1916 until his death. Biography Irvin Valentine Abernathy was born on August 23, 1852, in Troy, Mississippi. His parents were Marion Abernathy and Martha (Wilson) Abernathy. He married Mary Jane Laughlin in 1882. Before becoming a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, he was a member of the Board of Supervisors of Chickasaw County, and was a public cotton weigher for 10 years. He was elected to the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing Chickasaw County as a Democrat, in November 1915, for the 1916–1920 term. He was re-elected in November 1919. He was re-elected once more in November 1923. However, he died before finishing his term, on February 4, 1925, in Chickasaw County, Mississippi. He was buried in the IOOF cemetery there. Irvin Abell (September 13, 1876 – August 28, 1949) was a surgeon from Louisville, Kentucky. Early life Irvin Abell was born on September 13, 1876, in Lebanon, Kentucky to Sarah Silesia (née Rogers) and William Irvin Abell. The Abell family had lived in Kentucky since 1788. He attended St Augustine's Catholic School in Lebanon. He graduated from St. Mary's College in 1894 with a Master of Arts. Abell graduated from Louisville Medical College in 1897 and then studied in Germany at the University of Marburg and the University of Berlin. --Career-- In 1897, Abell interned at Louisville City Hospital. Abell joined the faculty at Louisville Medical College faculty in 1900 and became professor of surgery when the school merged with the University of Louisville in 1908. Irvina Bajramović
Irvina Bajramović (born 27 February 1995) is a Swedish footballer of Bosnian descent who plays as a forward for Mallbackens IF. Career Irvina Bajramović was the top scorer when Gilleby/Stala Orust FC won Division 3 in the 2012 season. In the summer of 2013, she moved to Torslanda IK, where she did not get much playing time.
