Ironheart (TV Series)
''Ironheart'' is an upcoming American television series created by Chinaka Hodge for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is intended to be the 10th television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) produced by Marvel Studios, sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. Hodge serves as head writer. The series is also produced by Proximity Media and 20th Television. Dominique Thorne reprises her role as Riri Williams / Ironheart from the film '' Black Panther: Wakanda Forever'' (2022). The series was announced in December 2020, along with Thorne's casting. Hodge was hired in April 2021, with additional castings revealed in February 2022. Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes joined to direct in April 2022. Trilith Studios is an American film and television production studio located south of Atlanta in Fayette County, Georgia. Originally known as Pinewood Atlanta Studios, the studio has been used to produce many films and television programs, particularly those produced by Marvel Studios. Samantha Bailey (born 1989) is an American writer, producer, director, and actress. She is known for the web series ''You're So Talented'' and '' Brown Girls''. Career Bailey was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois in the Logan Square neighborhood. She began stage acting as a teenager and received her bachelor's degree from Columbia College Chicago.
