William Mark Duke
William Mark Duke (October 7, 1879 – August 31, 1971) was a Canadian prelate of the Roman Catholic Church, who served as Archbishop of Vancouver from 1931 to 1964. Biography Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, on October 7, 1879. Ordination William Duke was ordained to the priesthood at age 23 on June 29, 1903. Consecration He was appointed Coadjutor Archbishop of Vancouver and Titular Bishop of ''Phasis'' by Pope Pius XI on August 10, 1928. He received his episcopal consecration on the following October 18 from Archbishop Timothy Casey. Duke later succeeded the late Archbishop Casey as full Archbishop of Vancouver on October 5, 1931. British Rail Class 87
The British Rail Class 87 is a type of electric locomotive designed and built by British Rail Engineering Limited (BREL) between 1973 and 1975. A total of thirty-six locomotives were constructed, to work passenger and freight services over the West Coast Main Line (WCML). The type was developed in response to the need to add extra capacity to the electric traction fleet operated by British Rail (BR), in addition to the desire to introduce a higher performance electric locomotive than the existing Class 86, numerous aspects of which being incorporated into its design. The Class 87 fleet was operated as the flagships of British Rail's electric locomotive fleet until the late 1980s, at which point the Class 90, an improved derivative of the Class 87, started to come on stream. 1938 Duke Blue Devils Football Team
The 1938 Duke Blue Devils football team represented the Duke Blue Devils of Duke University during the 1938 college football season. They were led by head coach Wallace Wade, who was in his eighth season at the school. Known as the "Iron Dukes", the 1938 Blue Devils went undefeated and unscored upon during the entire regular season, earning them the Southern Conference championship. Duke was invited to the Rose Bowl against the USC Trojans. In what was the Blue Devils' first bowl game appearance, the contest was a scoreless defensive battle until early in the fourth quarter, when Duke kicked a field goal to take a 3–0 lead. However, USC threw a touchdown pass with one minute left to score the first and only points allowed by Duke during the season and win the game. The 37th Armor is an armor (tank) regiment of the United States Army. It is often remembered as the successor to the 37th Tank Battalion, 4th Armored Division, commanded by then Lieutenant Colonel Creighton Abrams (the namesake of the M1 Abrams) during World War II. Plot introduction

The story revolves around Blacky Lee, an American arms merchant who is being pursued by pre-World War II Nazis. He is the spitting image of the archduke and has previously studied his background, voice, and mannerisms. Immediately he is caught in political intrigue, romance, and danger. The Iron Duke is grade II listed public house in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England. It was designed by A. W. Ecclestone in the late 1930s and completed in 1948.
