Iro White Blend
is the fourth single by Japanese entertainer Miho Nakayama. Written by Mariya Takeuchi, the single was released on February 5, 1986, by King Records. Background and release "Iro White Blend" was used by Shiseido for their spring 1986 commercials featuring Nakayama. During the recording of the song, songwriter Mariya Takeuchi coached Nakayama in pronouncing the English lines of the lyrics. On live performances of the song, fans would wave white-colored handkerchiefs, towels, and hats. "Iro White Blend" peaked at No. 5 on Oricon's weekly singles chart and sold over 223,000 copies, making it Nakayama's biggest-selling single until " Waku Waku Sasete" was released later that year. is a Japanese singer and actress. She is affiliated with Big Apple Co., Ltd. Nakayama is nicknamed , and sometimes uses the pseudonyms or when she writes the lyrics. is the eighth single by Japanese entertainer Miho Nakayama. Composed by Kyōhei Tsutsumi with lyrics by Takashi Matsumoto, the single was released on November 21, 1986, by King Records. An extended remix of the song, known as the "Party Version", was released as a 12" single on December 10, 1986. Background and release "Waku Waku Sasete" was used as the opening theme of the Fuji TV drama series , which starred Nakayama. Bassist Masato Nakamura was a member of Nakayama's backing band during live performances of the song before he went on to form the band Dreams Come True.
