Irati, Paraná
Irati is a municipality in the state of Paraná in Brazil, with an estimated population 61,088 as of 2020. Irati sprang up in the 1890s as a railroad town along the São Paulo–Rio Grande do Sul railroad line. The name, Irati, comes from the Tupi language and reportedly means "river of honey" (apparently there were many bees in the region). A distinguishing feature of many small towns in southern Brazil is the municipal anthem. Paraná (state)
Paraná () is one of the 26 states of Brazil, in the south of the country, bordered on the north by São Paulo state, on the east by the Atlantic Ocean, on the south by Santa Catarina state and the province of Misiones, Argentina, and on the west by Mato Grosso do Sul and Paraguay, with the Paraná River as its western boundary line. Tupian Languages
The Tupi or Tupian language family comprises some 70 languages spoken in South America, of which the best known are Tupi language, Tupi proper and Guarani language, Guarani. Homeland and ''urheimat'' Rodrigues (2007) considers the Proto-Tupian urheimat to be somewhere between the Guaporé River, Guaporé and Aripuanã River, Aripuanã rivers, in the Madeira River basin. Much of this area corresponds to the modern-day state of Rondônia, Brazil. 5 of the 10 Tupian branches are found in this area, as well as some Tupi–Guarani languages (especially Kawahíb language, Kawahíb), making it the probable urheimat of these languages and maybe of its speaking peoples. A playwright or dramatist is a person who writes plays. Etymology The word "play" is from Middle English pleye, from Old English plæġ, pleġa, plæġa ("play, exercise; sport, game; drama, applause"). The word "wright" is an archaic English term for a craftsman or builder (as in a wheelwright or cartwright). The words combine to indicate a person who has "wrought" words, themes, and other elements into a dramatic form—a play. (The homophone with "write" is coincidental.) Eliana Michaelichen Bezerra (born November 22, 1972), known mononymously as Eliana, is a Brazilian TV host, businesswoman, and former singer. Since 2009, she has been the host of the TV show ''Eliana'' which is broadcast on the Brazilian TV network SBT on Sunday afternoons. Early life Eliana was born on November 22, 1972, to José Bezerra and Eva Michaelichin. José Bezerra is a Ceará native born in the city of Solonópole and Eva Michaelichin is a Brazilian descendant of Ukrainians born in Irati. Bezerra met Michaelichin at a family home in São Paulo where they both worked. The two married and had a daughter, Helena Duarte. At this time, Bezerra worked as caretaker of a residential building in the São Paulo Garden in São Paulo, a job he still holds today; Michaelichin was a maid and keeper of the building.
