The 84th District of the Iowa House of Representatives in the state of Iowa. It's currently composed of part of Benton County, Iowa, Benton and Linn County, Iowa, Linn Counties since the redistricting became official on January 1, 2023. Dave Heaton
David Edward Heaton (born February 2, 1941) is the Iowa State Representative from the 91st District, representing all of Henry County and the northern portion of Lee County. He has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since January 1995. Born and raised in Sigourney, Iowa, he received his B.A. in history in 1964 from Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, where he currently resides. For 40 years, he and his family owned and operated a popular restaurant operation, The Iris, located in Mount Pleasant. Ross Paustian (born March 3, 1956) is an American politician and a farmer from Iowa. Paustian is a Republican Party (United States), Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives for District 92 since 2015. Early life On March 3, 1956, Paustian was born in Davenport, Iowa. James Van Fossen (born May 5, 1960) is a former Iowa State Representative from the 81st and 42nd Districts. A Republican, he served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1995 to 2009. J. Brent Siegrist (born September 30, 1952) is an American politician from the state of Iowa. A member of the Republican Party, he served in the Iowa House of Representatives for twenty years, non-consecutively, ten of which he filled the role of Speaker. Elaine Bland Baxter (January 16, 1933 – March 26, 2021) was an American politician and educator who served as the 27th Iowa Secretary of State.
