Jamie Van Fossen
James Van Fossen (born May 5, 1960) is a former Iowa State Representative from the 81st and 42nd Districts. A Republican, he served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1995 to 2009. He received his BBA from Saint Ambrose University. During his last term in the Iowa House, Van Fossen served on the Commerce, Economic Growth, Local Government, and Ways and Means committees. Van Fossen was first elected in 1994 in then-District 42. After the districts were redrawn for the 2002 election, he served in the 81st district. J. Brent Siegrist (born September 30, 1952) is an American politician from the state of Iowa. A member of the Republican Party, he served in the Iowa House of Representatives for twenty years, non-consecutively, ten of which he filled the role of Speaker. Career Prior to getting into politics, Siegrist worked as a high school teacher. He was first elected to the Iowa House of Representatives in the 1984 elections. Geri D. Huser (born July 14, 1963) is a Democratic party politician. She served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1996 to 2011. Education Huser graduated from Southeast Polk High School and later received a BA in social work from Briar Cliff College. She also got a law degree from Drake University.
