Iosif Davidovich Amusin (; French: ''Joseph Amoussine'', November 29, 1910, Vitebsk – June 12, 1984, Leningrad) was a Soviet historian, orientalist, hebraist and papyrologyst, was specialist in the history of the Ancient Near East and Qumran studies. History Amusin was twice (in 1928 and 1938) arrested and sentenced for Zionist connections and "anti-Soviet" activity (acquitted posthumously in 1989). Graduated from the Historical Faculty of Leningrad University (1935–1941). Served as a medical officer during the Second World War. Liebling (formerly Brist; german: Liebling; hu, Liebling or ''Kedvenc'') is a commune in Timiș County, Romania. It is composed of three villages: Cerna (german: Tscherna; hu, Temescserna), Iosif (formerly Conacul Iosif; hu, Józsefszállás) and Liebling. Geography Liebling is located in the southwest of Timiș County, 35 km from Timișoara and 20 km from Ciacova, the nearest town. Hydrography Liebling belongs to the Timiș river basin. Ștefan Octavian Iosif
Ștefan Octavian Iosif (; 11 October 1875 – 22 June 1913) was an Austro-Hungarian-born Romanian poet and translator. Life Born in Brașov, Transylvania (part of Austria-Hungary at the time), he studied in his native town and in Sibiu before completing his education in Paris. While in France, he met Dimitrie Anghel, who would become a long-time friend. In Bucharest, Iosif, Anghel and Emil Gârleanu created a literary society (1909), the Romanian Writers' Society; Iosif later became associated with ''Sămănătorul''. His friendship with Anghel came to an abrupt end after the two writers fell in love with the same woman, Natalia Negru. She was first married to Iosif, but divorced him in order to remarry Anghel. The latter was drawn to despair by her infidelities, and committed suicide in 1914. Iosif Dan (commonly known as Dan Iosif, 14 October 1950 – 5 December 2007) was a Romanian politician who was a leading figure in the 1989 Romanian Revolution, leading protests in Bucharest in the final days of Nicolae Ceauşescu's 25-year rule. Iosif was born in Bucharest. In 1969, he graduated from 'Şcoala de maiştri militari', a military school in Sibiu, Romania. Iosif was a presidential adviser and faithful political adept of Ion Iliescu, permanently being a member of Iliescu's party ( FSN, FDSN, PDSR, and PSD). Iosif Vulcan (March 31, 1841 – September 8, 1907) was an ethnic Romanian Austro-Hungarian magazine editor, poet, playwright, novelist and cultural figure. He founded the literary magazine '' Familia'', which he published for four decades. Iosif Samuilovich Shklovsky (russian: Ио́сиф Самуи́лович Шкло́вский; sometimes transliterated ''Josif, Josif, Shklovskii, Shklovskij'') (1 July 1916 – 3 March 1985) was a Soviet astronomer and astrophysicist. Iosif Rotariu (born 27 September 1962) is a retired Romanian association football midfielder. He debuted in Divizia A with FC Politehnica Timișoara in 1981. He won the league championship with Steaua București in 1987, 1988, 1989, 1997 and 1998, and won the Romanian Cup with the same club in 1987, 1988, 1989 and 1997. He also played abroad, in Turkey.
