Iori Kimura
is a Russian Japanese racing driver who currently competes in Super Formula Lights and Super GT. Career Kimura started professional racing in 2016, competed in Asian Le Mans Sprint Cup. Then in 2017, Kimura raced in Asian Formula Renault Series Class B with PS Racing, however for one round only. He raced again in 2019 to compete in F4 Japanese Championship, where he finished 9th overall. In 2020, Kimura was supposed to race again in Japanese F4 with new team Honda Formula Dream Project (HFDP), but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the team has withdrawn from series that year. After one year off racing, Kimura returned to compete in 2021 F4 Japanese Championship with HFDP. In that season, he managed to clinch 3rd place, losing out to the champion Seita Nonaka & Rin Arakawa. His best season up to date with 4 wins to his name. 2019 F4 Japanese Championship
The 2019 F4 Japanese Championship season was the fifth season of the F4 Japanese Championship. It began on 13 April in Okayama and finished on 3 November in Twin Ring Motegi after seven double header rounds. The "2019 FIA Formula 1 World Championship Round 17 Japan Grand Prix Race" will be held at Suzuka Circuit on October 11-13, 2019 first time as a support race event. The , more famously known as the , is a long motorsport race track located in Ino, Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, Japan and operated by Honda Mobilityland, a subsidiary of Honda Motor Co, Ltd. It has a capacity of 155,000. Introduction Soichiro Honda decided to develop a new permanent circuit in Mie prefecture in the late 1950s. Designed as a Honda test track in 1962 by Dutchman John "Hans" Hugenholtz, the most iconic feature of the track is its "figure eight" layout, with the long back straight passing over the front section by means of an overpass. Honda has been competing in a variety of racing series through the years, including Formula One, IndyCar, touring car racing, sports car racing and MotoGP. Twin Ring Motegi
Mobility Resort Motegi (モビリティリゾートもてぎ) is a motorsport race track located at Motegi, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. Originally named Twin Ring Motegi (ツインリンクもてぎ), the circuit's name came from the facility having two race tracks: a oval and a road course. It was built in 1997 by Honda Motor Co., Ltd., as part of the company's effort to bring the IndyCar Series to Japan, helping to increase their knowledge of American open-wheel racing. The oval was last raced on in 2010, and on 1 March 2022, the name of the track was changed to Mobility Resort Motegi, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the facility. Fuji Speedway
is a motorsport race track standing in the foothills of Mount Fuji, in Oyama, Suntō District, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. It was built in the early 1960s. In the 1980s, Fuji Speedway was used for the FIA World Sportscar Championship and national racing. Originally managed by Mitsubishi Estate Co., Fuji Speedway was acquired by Toyota Motor Corporation in 2000. The circuit hosted the Formula One Japanese Grand Prix in 2007 after an absence of nearly 30 years, replacing the Suzuka Circuit owned by Honda.
