Ioannis Kiliaras
Giannis Kiliaras ( gr, Γιάννης Κοιλιάρας; born 9 June 1988) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a left back for Super League 2 club Irodotos. Club career Born in Nea Alikarnassos, Kiliaras began playing football for local Cretan side Irodotos, with whom he made his senior debut in the Delta Ethniki, before making a leap in his career and signing with Super League side Ergotelis. Following a one-year loan to fellow Cretan Delta Ethniki side PANOM, Kiliaras signed his first professional contract with the club in the summer of 2007. After a brief loan spell to Gamma Ethniki side Trikala in the winter of 2010, Kiliaras left Ergotelis in the summer of 2010 having made a total of 11 appearances and having scored 1 goal. In August, he signed a contract with Patras-based club Panachaiki. with whom he played in both the Third and Second Division. Nea Alikarnassos
Nea Alikarnassos ( el, Νέα Αλικαρνασσός, meaning New Halicarnassus) is a town and a former municipality in the Heraklion regional unit, Crete, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Heraklion, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 16.1 km2. Population 14,635 (2011). It is located on the north coast of the island and is served by the Nikos Kazantzakis International Airport. In the settlement of Prassas, the Minoan ruins of two houses were found. Nea Alikarnassos was founded in 1925 as a public housing development to accommodate the refugees, who were displaced following the Greco-Turkish War. Heraklion's Hellenic Police headquarters are located within the area. Dimitrios Kiliaras ( el, Δημήτριος Κοιλιάρας; born 23 March 1986) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Super League 2 club Irodotos. Career Kiliaras began playing football with local club Irodotos, before moving to Gamma Ethniki side Ergotelis in 2002. As the club celebrated consecutive promotions to reach the Alpha Ethniki (later renamed to Superleague) in 2004, Kiliaras made his top-flight debut during the 2004–05 season. He impressed with his performances for Ergotelis in the Superleague, earning a transfer to Panionios on 16 May 2008 for a reported 500K Euros. Playing the same position as Panionios Uruguayan stars at the time Álvaro Recoba and Fabián Estoyanoff, Kiliaras did not manage to maintain a place in the club's starting XI, and was subsequently loaned out back to Ergotelis in 2009.
