Ioan Almășan (born 22 June 1962) is a Romanian former football goalkeeper and manager. He played for Politehnica Timișoara in the 1992 Cupa României final which was won by Steaua București. Lovrin
Lovrin (german: Lowring, formerly ''Lorandhausen''; hu, Lovrin, formerly ''Lóránthalma'') is a commune in Timiș County, Romania. It is composed of a single village, Lovrin. It also included three other villages – Gottlob, Tomnatic and Vizejdia – until 2004, when they were split off to form Gottlob and Tomnatic communes. The commune itself is a significant railway junction served by local railway lines radiating in five directions. It is an agro-industrial and urban center for the surrounding region. Until the early 1990s the majority of inhabitants were of German descent but emigration has significantly reduced their numbers. History Lovrin was documented in 1466 as ''Lóránthalma''. Later it was also known as ''Lóránt'' or ''Lórántfalva''. In 1529 it was looted by the Turks, which led to the refuge of the population for a while. 1991–92 Cupa României
The 1991–92 Cupa României was the 54th edition of Romania's most prestigious football cup competition. The title was won by Steaua București against Politehnica Timişoara. Format The competition is an annual knockout tournament. First round proper matches are played on the ground of the lowest ranked team, then from the second round proper the matches are played on a neutral location. If a match is drawn after 90 minutes, the game goes in extra time, if the scored is still tight after 120 minutes, then the winner will be established at penalty kicks.
