Invisible Wind Factory
Invisible Wind Factory is an events venue based in a former factory in Liverpool, UK. It opened in 2016 and has hosted a range of gigs and other events. Building The building is at 3 Regent Road, to the north of Liverpool city centre and near to the Stanley Dock Tobacco Warehouse. It was acquired by the Kazimier Collective, already known in Liverpool for the Kazimier club, which closed at the end of 2016. The ground floor was developed into an events space and workshops, the first floor was split up into artists studios and the basement became a second events room known as Substation. The Invisible Wind Factory opened to the public in May 2016, with a multimedia show called Omphalos. In 2018, Paulina Olowska installed a mosaic on the outside wall as part of the Liverpool Biennial. Culture Recovery Fund
The Culture Recovery Fund is a grants programme issued by the UK Government as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The fund aims to financially support cultural organisations in England (such as theatres, museums, and music venues) which had become financially unviable as a result of national and local restrictions. New Model Army are an English Rock music, rock band formed in Bradford, West Yorkshire, in 1980 by lead vocalist, guitarist and principal songwriter Justin Sullivan, bassist Stuart Morrow and drummer Phil Tompkins. Heaven 17 are an English new wave and synth-pop band that formed in Sheffield in 1980. The band were a trio for most of their career, composed of Martyn Ware (keyboards) and Ian Craig Marsh (keyboards) (both previously of the Human League), and Glenn Gregory (vocals, keyboards). Futurama Festival
Futurama Festival was an annual post-punk and gothic rock festival held at venues in Leeds, Stafford and Queensferry between 1979 and 1983. A sixth edition was held in 1989. It aimed for a relaunch in 2021 but, after being postponed, was forced to cancel as a result of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom.
