"Inuyasha" is a song by Italian singer Mahmood. It was released as a digital download and for streaming on 2 February 2021 by Island Records. The song peaked at number twenty-one on the Italian Singles Chart. The song was written by Alessandro Mahmoud and Dardust, and produced by Dardust. Alessandro Mahmoud (, ; born 12 September 1992), known professionally as Mahmood, is an Italian singer-songwriter. He rose to prominence after competing on the sixth season of the Italian version of ''The X Factor''. He has won the Sanremo Music Festival twice, in 2019 with the song "Soldi" and in 2022 alongside Blanco with the song " Brividi". His Sanremo victories allowed him to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest in those respective years, finishing in second place in and in sixth place in as the host entrant. Inuyasha (character)
is a fictional character and the titular protagonist of the manga series ''Inuyasha'', created by Rumiko Takahashi. He is a half-demon, half-human from the Sengoku period of Japan. Inuyasha also appears in the anime-only sequel, '' Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon''. Concept and creation When Rumiko Takahashi began the series, the only ideas she had were Inuyasha being sealed by Kikyō and his sword being a relic from his father, everything after that was thought up on a weekly basis. Dario Faini, also known as Dardust or DRD, is an Italian songwriter, record producer and pianist. He composed songs for several recording artists, including Marco Mengoni, Francesco Renga, Emma, Annalisa, Thegiornalisti, Giusy Ferreri, Levante, Elodie, Fabri Fibra, Ermal Meta and Rancore. Inuyasha
