The party grew out of four minor parties, including Independent .... It was founded on 21 December 2018. History Institute was founded in December 2018. Senator Zdeněk Hraba was elected its first Chairman of institute's board. Other members include Dana Drábová, Michaela Matoušková and Věslav Michalik. Barbora Urbanová became chairwoman of the institute in 2019. As of January 2021 it held 5 conferences. On 15 June 2021 it held its fifth conference called "Safe Country-Attractive Partner." Mayors And Independents
The Mayors and Independents ( cs, Starostové a nezávislí), abbreviated to STAN, is a liberal political party in the Czech Republic that is focused on localism and subsidiarity. The party grew out of four minor parties, including Independent Mayors for the Region, which allied itself with the liberal-conservative SNK European Democrats, and cooperated with the similarly liberal-conservative TOP 09 until 2016. It holds 33 seats in the Chamber of Deputies, and is the third strongest party by number of seats following the 2021 election. In the 2013 election to the Chamber of Deputies, STAN won five seats on the TOP 09 list: Jan Farský, Stanislav Polčák, Věra Kovářová, František Vácha and acting leader Petr Gazdík.
