Institut Nova Història
The (INH, "New History Institute") is a Catalonia, Catalan cultural Foundation (nonprofit), foundation with headquarters in Barcelona committed to Historical revisionism, revisionist pseudohistory, pseudohistorical research. Its members, of which the most prominent is the Catalan nationalist writer Jordi Bilbeny, hold that history has been systematically manipulated by the Spanish (or "Castilian") state since the 15th century to eliminate the Catalan contribution to world history. The foundation promotes research, study and dissemination through publications, conferences, documentaries and symposia of its vision of Catalan history. in particular the annual "Symposium on the Catalan Discovery of America" in Arenys de Munt. This has led them to create a "history of their own" whose theses, "more or less picturesques ”, are rejected by both scholars and Academia. The Generalitat de Catalunya (; oc, label=Aranese, Generalitat de Catalonha; es, Generalidad de Cataluña), or the Government of Catalonia, is the institutional system by which Catalonia politically organizes its self-government. Arenys De Mar
Arenys de Mar (, ''arenys'' being Catalan for "sands (of a seasonal creek)", and ''de mar'' for "by the sea" as opposed to Arenys de Munt, "sands up hill") is one of the main municipalities of the comarca of Maresme, Barcelona Province, Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the coast between Caldes d'Estrac and Canet de Mar, about 40 kilometres (25 miles) northeast of Barcelona. , it had a population of 14,688. Pla de l'Estany () is a comarca (county) in Catalonia, Spain. Its name means "plain of the lake", the lake in question being the Lake of Banyoles. Banyoles is also the name of the capital of the comarca and home to over half of its people.
