Innerpartysystem (often stylized as InnerPartySystem) is an American electronic rock band. The group consists of Patrick Nissley, Jared Piccone and Kris Barman. The band is well known for their live performance lighting largely by Andrew Nissley and videos directed by Stephen Penta. The band was named for a term used in the George Orwell novel ''Nineteen Eighty-Four''. Their debut EP ''The Download EP'' was released in November 2007 and their debut self-titled album in late September 2008. As of late 2008 the band started releasing seasonal mixtapes, new remixes including Ladyhawke's track " Paris Is Burning" and Katy Perry's "Hot n Cold". In May 2009 the band digitally released the UK equivalent of ''The Download EP'', entitled '' Heart of Fire''. As of October 2009, the band worked towards their EP '' Never Be Content'', which was released in February 2011. ''Innerpartysystem'' is the self-titled debut and only studio album by the electronic rock band Innerpartysystem. The album features two tracks from Innerpartysystem's self-recorded The Download EP, " Don't Stop" and "Heart of Fire", which have been re-recorded and mastered. The album was originally scheduled to be released September 10, 2008 (with an early rough date for June 17) but was pushed back to September 29–30. "Don't Stop" is the debut single by the American band Innerpartysystem from the band's Innerpartysystem (album), self-titled debut album. Before being Audio mastering, mastered the song was officially released on the band's debut The Download EP, EP (although an earlier demo (music), demo had been published on the band's MySpace profile beforehand). The single was re-released mainly due to poor endorsement by American music channels. The lyrics of the song focus on celebrity culture and lies within the media and celebrities. Stolen Transmission
Stolen Transmission was an American independent record label founded in 2005 by Sarah Lewitinn and Rob Stevenson. They have released albums from well-known artists such as Innerpartysystem, Monty Are I, and Schoolyard Heroes. History The label started in 2005 by former Spin editor, Sarah Lewitinn, who quit the magazine to create the label, and Rob Stevenson, a music executive for Island Def Jam. It began as an imprint of Island Def Jam. It lasted 2 years without any major commercial or critical success. In late 2007, Stolen Transmission parted ways with Island Def Jam due to the reconstruction of it, and Stolen Transmission ran completely independent for a few months. Projekt Revolution was a music festival hosted by Linkin Park, bringing artists of various genres of music together. Linkin Park started Projekt Revolution in the year 2002 with just one stage. Kris Barman, known professionally as Wuki, is an American musician, record producer, and DJ. He was a member of the electronic rock band Innerpartysystem from 2007 to 2011 where he sang back up vocals, played the guitar and synthesizer, and helped with programming.
