Borchgrevink Glacier
Borchgrevink Glacier () is a large glacier in the Victory Mountains, Victoria Land, draining south between Malta Plateau and Daniell Peninsula, and thence projecting into Glacier Strait, Ross Sea, as a floating glacier tongue, the Borchgrevink Glacier Tongue, just south of Cape Jones. It was named by the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition, 1957–58, for Carsten Borchgrevink, leader of the British Antarctic Expedition, 1898–1900. Borchgrevink visited the area in February 1900 and first observed the seaward portion of the glacier. Aston Ingham is a village in south-eastern Herefordshire, England, near Newent and about east of Ross-on-Wye. The population of the village at the 2011 census was 398. There is a church, dedicated to St John the Baptist, which has been a Grade II* listed building since 17 March 1987. Royal Air Force Cammeringham or more simply RAF Cammeringham (formerly RAF Ingham) was a Royal Air Force station used by RAF Bomber Command between 1940 and 1945 and the Polish Air Force until 1946. The airfield was located between the A15 (Ermine Street) and B1398 roads, north of the city Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England and due east of the village of Ingham. Mainly used as an overflow airfield for nearby RAF Hemswell and later as a training establishment, its continued use was limited by damage to its grassed runways. Ingham University
Ingham University in Le Roy, New York, was the first women's college in New York State and the first chartered women's university in the United States. It was founded in 1835 as the Attica (NY) Female Seminary by Mariette and Emily E. Ingham, who moved the school to Le Roy in 1837. The school was chartered on April 6, 1852, as the Ingham Collegiate Institute, and a full university charter was granted in April 1857. After financial difficulties, the college closed in 1892 and its property was sold at auction in 1895. Over several years, the college's former buildings were demolished; the stone from the Arts Conservatory, the last campus building to be dismantled, was used to build the Woodward Memorial Library at the same location in Le Roy. The Ven Joshua Ingham Brooke (14 February 1836 – 19 June 1906) was Archdeacon of Halifax from 1888 until his death. Life Brooke was born in Honley, the son of Thomas Brooke, a wealthy manufacturer. He was educated at Cheltenham College and University College. He was ordained deacon in 1860, and priest in 1862. After curacies in Retford and Batheaston he was the Incumbent at Easthope from 1866 to 1867; Thornhill from 1867 until 1888 (also Rural Dean of Dewsbury from 1871); and then of Halifax from 1889 to 1904. Family Brook married Grace Charlotte Godby in 1859. They had three sons; among the sons was Christopher Robert Ingham Brooke. Ingham (also known as Ingham Station or Ingham's Station) is a ghost town in southeastern Brown Township, Vinton County, Ohio and western Waterloo Township, Athens County, Ohio, United States. The town is located east of the more well known ghost town of Moonville in Vinton County and west of Mineral and King’s Station in Athens County Ingham had its start when the railroad was extended to the mines at that point. William N. Jaynes was postmaster from March 25, 1903, until mail was discontinued on April 30, 1904, when it was sent to the Mineral post office. The town was abandoned when the mines shut down in the early 1900s.
