Albert Edward Ingham (3 April 1900 – 6 September 1967) was an English mathematician. Early life and education Ingham was born in Northampton. William Ingham
William Harold Ingham (1882 – after 1915) was a footballer who played in the Football League for Bristol City and Gainsborough Trinity, and the Southern League for West Ham United, Plymouth Argyle and Norwich City. He was a centre forward. Life and career Ingham began his career with Aberdare Athletic before joining West Ham United in 1903. He made two league appearances in one season with the club and then returned to Aberdare. In April 1905, Ingham played for Aberdare in the Welsh Cup final against Wrexham. He was signed by Bristol City later that year, where he played in one league game. In 1906, he joined Gainsborough Trinity and scored seven goals in 28 league appearances for the club. Having moved to Plymouth Argyle the following year, Ingham was the club's top goalscorer in his first season. Samuel Ingham (September 5, 1793 – November 10, 1881) was a two-term Congressman from Connecticut. He is not to be confused with the former Secretary of the Treasury Samuel D. Ingham. He was born in Hebron, Connecticut, Hebron on September 5, 1793. He attended the common schools in Vermont, studied law with John Mattocks and Sylvester Gilbert, was admitted to the bar and commenced practice in Canaan, Vermont. Robert Ingham
Robert Ingham (1793 – 21 October 1875) was a British barrister and politician. The fourth son of the surgeon William Ingham and his wife Jane Walker, of Newcastle upon Tyne, Ingham was educated at Harrow School. He matriculated at Oriel College, Oxford in 1811. He graduated with a B.A. in 1815 and an M.A. in 1818, and held a fellowship at Oriel from 1816 until 1826. Ingham took to the law and was admitted to Lincoln's Inn on 16 June 1820, moving to the Inner Temple in 1825. He was returned as Member of Parliament (MP) for South Shields in the election of 1832, initially as a Tory. One of his strongest supporters in Shields was local heroine Dolly Peel. He continued to represent South Shields until he was defeated by John Twizell Wawn in the election of 1841. He was also appointed recorder of Berwick-upon-Tweed in June 1832. Sir Oliver Ingham (about 1287–1344) was an English knight and landowner who served as a soldier and administrator under King Edward II of England and his successor, King Edward III. He was responsible for the civil government and military defence of the Duchy of Aquitaine during the War of Saint-Sardos and the early part of the Hundred Years' War. Early life Born about 1287, he was the son and heir of Sir John Ingham (1260-1309) of Ingham, Norfolk, who had served in the wars of King Edward I against the Scots, and his wife Margery. Michael Gerard Ingham (born 9 July 1980) is a semi-professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Tadcaster Albion. He has played in the Football League for Carlisle United, Darlington, York City, Wrexham, Doncaster Rovers and Sunderland and at senior international level for the Northern Ireland national team. Ingham started his career with Northern Irish club Cliftonville before moving to England with Sunderland in the Premier League in 1999.
