Inge Bagge
Inga Bagge (24 July 1916 – 3 May 1988) was a Swedish sculptor and painter. Her art education started in the mid-1930s under Leoo Verde at the ABF school in Linköping and in the early 1950s included the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts. Consisting of a variety of unconventional materials, her early works attracted attention and acclaim at her 1958 début exhibition at the Burén Gallery in Stockholm. She went on to create even more surprising works, many of which can be seen in public places as well as in a number of museums. One of her most significant, the huge two-dimensional ''Livsträdet'' (Tree of Life, 1975), can be seen in Stockholm's Moderna Museet. Bagge also taught at Konstskolan Idun Lovén. ''Inga'' is a genus of small tropical, tough-leaved, nitrogen-fixing treesElkan, Daniel. ''Inga''s leaves are pinnate, and flowers are generally white. Many of the hundreds of species are used ornamentally. The seeds are covered with sweet white powder. The pulp covering the seeds is lightly fibrous and sweet, and rich in minerals; it is edible in the raw state. The tree's name originates from the Tupi word ''in-gá'' meaning "soaked", due to the fruit powder consistency. The tree usually blooms twice a year. Henri-Robert-Marcel Duchamp (, , ; 28 July 1887 – 2 October 1968) was a French painter, sculptor, chess player, and writer whose work is associated with Cubism, Dada, and conceptual art. Arbetarnas bildningsförbund (ABF) (the Workers' Educational Association) is the educational section of the Swedish labour movement. ABF conducts seminars, classes and study circles on a variety of subjects, including workshops, languages and music. History ABF was founded on 16 November 1912, by the Swedish Social Democratic Party and some of the trade unions. Today, the main members of ABF are the Social Democrats and the Left Party. Ulf Linde
Ulf Harald Linde (15 April 1929 – 12 October 2013) was a Swedish art critic, writer, museum director and a member of the Swedish Academy. Born in Stockholm, he was elected to the Swedish Academy on 10 February 1977 and admitted on 20 December 1977. Linde succeeded the writer Eyvind Johnson to Seat No.11. Linde was the director of the Thiel Gallery in Stockholm between 1977 and 1997. Ulf Linde was active as a jazz musician, mainly in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Sven Erixson
Sven "X-et" Leonard Erixson (23 November 1899 - 17 May 1970) was a Swedish painter and sculptor. Son of Alfred and Mathilda Eriksson, he was married to Ingeborg Erixson with whom he had two children: a son, the artist Sverre Erixson (born 1932) and a daughter, the actor Irma Erixson (born 1937). Early life Erixson's journey to becoming an established artist was a long one. He started his apprenticeship to a master painter at age of 14. He continued his artistic education by studying decorative painting, while he took a position as a teacher of drawing at the Konstfack. This was followed by a year of study at the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts, to which he later returned as a Professor of painting 1943–53.
