Old Norse Yngvi , Old High German Ing/Ingwi and Old English Ingƿine are names that relate to a theonym which appears to have been the older name for the god Freyr. Chloe Ing (Chinese: 伍宣菱, born 12 September 1998) is a Singaporean-Canadian figure skater. She is the 2019 Southeast Asian Games champion, 2017 Southeast Asian Games silver medalist and a four-time senior national champion. She has competed in the final segment at three ISU Championships – the 2017 Four Continents, 2018 Four Continents, and 2018 Junior Worlds. Dean Charles Ing (June 17, 1931 – July 21, 2020) was an American author, who usually wrote in the science fiction and techno-thriller genres. His novel ''The Ransom of Black Stealth One'' (1989) was a ''New York Times'' bestseller. He wrote more than 30 novels, and co-authored novels with his friends Jerry Pournelle, S. M. Nita Ing (殷琪; born 17 March 1955, in Taipei) is the Taiwanese-American president of Continental Engineering Corporation and the former chairman of the board of the Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation, the company which built a high-speed railway system from Taipei to Kaohsiung. A supporter of the Democratic Progressive Party, she had been an advisor to the former President Chen Shui-bian. Her career as a construction magnate took place largely within Taiwan's Continental Engineering Corporation, of which she has served as the chairman of the board. Taiwan High Speed Rail
Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) is the high-speed railway of Taiwan consisting of one line that runs approximately along the west coast, from the capital Taipei to the southern city of Kaohsiung. With construction and operations managed by a private company, Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation (THSRC; ), which also operates the line, the total cost of the project was billion in 1998. Peter A. Ing (born April 28, 1969) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played 74 games in the National Hockey League with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, and Detroit Red Wings between 1989 and 1993.
