Rai News 24 is an Italian free-to-air television channel owned and operated by state-owned public broadcaster RAI – Radiotelevisione italiana. It is the company's all-news television channel, and is known for its 24-hour rolling news service and its live coverage of breaking news. History It was launched on 26th April 1999 at 6am. Until 19th May 2000, the channel broadcast live weekdays only and re-aired previous recordings during the weekend. On 4th January 2017, the channel launched its own HD feed. Rai Radio 3 Classica is a radio channel, owned and produced by the Italian State broadcaster RAI, which broadcasts uninterrupted classical music without commercials. Until August 2015 it was known as Rai Radio FD 5, and before that as FD Auditorium. From 2015 till 2017 the station was called Rai Radio 5 Classica. Rai Radio Tutta Italiana is a radio channel owned and produced by the Italian state-owned public-service broadcasting organization RAI. Until 11 June 2017 it was known as ''Rai Radio 4 Light'' and broadcast continuous pop, rock, fusion, jazz, Latin American, movie soundtrack, melodic, and easy-listening orchestral music, without commercials. Rai Storia (English language, English: Rai History) is an Italian television channel owned by Rai Cultura, an arm of broadcaster RAI available on digital terrestrial television in Italy. Launched on 17 June 2002 as Rai Edu 2, the channel adopted its current name on 2 February 2009 and it is broadcast in Italy on Digital terrestrial television, DTT Virtual channel, channel 54 on Multiplex (TV), mux ''Rai 4''. ClassTV was an Italian TV Channel launched in 2003 owned by Class Editori (who also own Class CNBC). The channel originally launched as an all-news channel and renamed before ''Class News msnbc'' on 6 September 2010 and after ''ClassTV MSNBC'' on 2 May 2011. It was later relaunched as an Italian news and movie channel before its closure. It was broadcast in Italy on DTT channel 27 on Mux ''Mediaset 2''. On 27 January 2015, the channel ceased transmission, and was replaced by a series of filter to promote Sky TG24's launch over the air. Rai Sport is an Italian sports TV channel, launched in 1999 by the state-owned RAI television network. It broadcast Italian and international sports events in Italy on DTT channel 146 on ''Rai Mux B''. It is also available on Sky Italia. On 18 May 2010 a sister channel, Rai Sport 2 was launched.
