Infinity One
"∞1" (read "Infinity Ichi"; translated as "Infinity 1") is Do As Infinity's twenty-first single, released on June 17, 2009. The band had disbanded in September 2005, but reformed three years later in September 2008. This is the first new single the band released after reforming, and is the first single by the band not to have Dai Nagao. The single contains four songs, though none are named "∞1", and this is the first Do As Infinity single not to contain instrumental versions of any song. A music video directed by Kensuke Kawamura was produced for "Umareyuku Monotachi e". Do As Infinity is a Japanese pop and Rock music, rock band that formed in 1999 with three members: vocalist Tomiko Van, guitarist Ryo Owatari, and guitarist and composer Dai Nagao. The band's name is sometimes abbreviated as DAI, alluding to the fact that Do As Infinity was named after Nagao. Eternal Flame (album)
''Eternal Flame'' is Do As Infinity's seventh studio album, released on September 30, 2009. The band had disbanded in September 2005, but reformed three years later in September 2008. This is the first new album the band released after reforming, and is the first album by the band not to have Dai Nagao on the staff, though his song "Tangerine Dream" was remixed as a bonus track. The album contains twelve music tracks plus one bonus track for the limited edition first print release of ''Eternal Flame''. Two of the tracks were originally featured on Do As Infinity's 21st single " ∞1" (2009). Three of the songs were featured on Japanese television: "Saigo no Game", "Meramera", and "Piece Of Your Heart". Two different editions of the album were released, CD and CD+DVD. Between March 14 and April 14, 2009, a contest called Do! Creative!! was held to give Do As Infinity fans a chance to compose songs that the band would later perform. Seiji Kameda
is a Japanese music producer, arranger and bass guitarist. He has worked extensively with Ringo Shiina, serving as her producer and touring bassist for many years, including his tenure with their band Tokyo Jihen from 2005 to 2012. Biography He was born in New York City but moved to Japan when he was one. He started piano classes with his elder sister when he was 3 years old. In 1970 he moved to Osaka. Tao (song)
"Tao" is Do As Infinity's twentieth single, released on July 27, 2005. The lyrics describe the parting of two friends. "Tao" was used as the Japanese opening song of ''Tales of Legendia''. This was the last single released before the band disbanded in September 2005, but Do As Infinity reformed three years later, and released their twenty-first single, " ∞1", in June 2009. The title of the B-side, "Aurora", means 'dawn' in Italian; the lyrics of the song are like the conclusion of the story in "Break of Dawn", the first track on the band's first album '' Break of Dawn''. Kimi Ga Inai Mirai
is Do As Infinity's 22nd single, released on January 20, 2010. Of the four songs on the single, only the title track is new - the remaining three are the previously released songs "Fukai Mori", " Shinjitsu no Uta" and " Rakuen". The four songs on the single were all used as theme songs to either the ''Inuyasha'' anime series or the animated film '' Inuyasha the Movie: Fire on the Mystic Island''; the single was released as a commemoration of this. Four versions of the single were produced: a CD+DVD set in regular and first-print editions, and a CD-only release also in regular and first-print editions. A music video directed by Wataru Takeishi was produced for "Kimi ga Inai Mirai". The lyrics of "Kimi ga Inai Mirai" include the song titles of the other three songs on the single.
