Infinity 2
"∞2" (read "Infinity Ni"; translated as "Infinity 2") is Do As Infinity's 23rd single, released on June 16, 2010. The single is the second in the "Infinity" series, after Do As Infinity's 21st single " ∞1" (2009). Like "∞1", "∞2" contains four songs with none named after the single itself. Between September 1 and October 31, 2009, the second installment of a contest called Do! Creative!! was held to give Do As Infinity fans a chance to compose songs that the band would later perform. Of the songs received, two were selected to be placed on "∞2": "Everything Will Be All Right" composed by Shohei Ohi, and "Haruka" composed by Fumiyasu Sueoka. A music video was produced for "1/100" directed by A.T. "1/100" and "Everything Will Be All Right" were used as promotional theme songs for professional Kyōtei boat racing in 2010. Do As Infinity
Do As Infinity is a Japanese pop and Rock music, rock band that formed in 1999 with three members: vocalist Tomiko Van, guitarist Ryo Owatari, and guitarist and composer Dai Nagao. The band's name is sometimes abbreviated as DAI, alluding to the fact that Do As Infinity was named after Nagao. Signed to Avex Trax, the band released their debut single "Tangerine Dream (song), Tangerine Dream" on September 29, 1999, followed by three more singles between 1999 and 2000, which appeared on their debut album ''Break of Dawn (Do As Infinity album), Break of Dawn'' (2000). In December 2000, Nagao decided to devote all his time to composing the music and no longer appeared at live events. "∞1" (read "Infinity Ichi"; translated as "Infinity 1") is Do As Infinity's twenty-first single, released on June 17, 2009. The band had disbanded in September 2005, but reformed three years later in September 2008. This is the first new single the band released after reforming, and is the first single by the band not to have Dai Nagao. The single contains four songs, though none are named "∞1", and this is the first Do As Infinity single not to contain instrumental versions of any song. Kyōtei
The , literally "boat racing" and referred to as BOAT RACE, is a hydroplane racing event primary held in Japan. It is one of Japan's four , which are sports events where parimutuel betting is legal. Kyōtei was introduced in Japan in April 1952, when the first race was held at Ōmura Kyōtei Stadium in Ōmura City, Nagasaki Prefecture.
