Infinite Justice (film)
''Infinite Justice'' is a 2006 British thriller drama film written and directed by London-based Pakistani director Jamil Dehlavi. It won ''Best Dramatic Feature'' at the European Independent Awards in Paris in March 2007, and the ''Robert Rodriguez Award for Excellence'' at the 2007 Hollywood Digital Film Festival in Los Angeles. It opened in theaters in the United Kingdom on 30 November 2007. The plot revolves around Muslim fundamentalists taking an American reporter hostage during the U.S. Infinite Justice efforts in Afghanistan. Jamil Dehlavi ( ur, جمیل دہلوی) (born 1944) is a London-based independent film director and producer of Pakistani- French origin. Since he became a filmmaker in the 1970s, his work has been widely screened internationally, notable films including ''Jinnah'' (1998), about the partition of India and the birth of Pakistan, which won the Grand Prize at the Festival of the Dhow Countries, Best International Film at the World Film Awards in Indonesia, the Gold Award at Worldfest Flagstaff, Best Foreign Film at Worldfest Houston, and was nominated for a Golden Pyramid at the Cairo International Film Festival. Jeffrey Mirza (born 3 February 1964) is an English stand-up comedian and actor of British-Pakistani descent. Early life Mirza was born and brought up in East End of London, England to Pakistani parents. His family are from the Punjab region of Pakistan and are of Mughal descent. His paternal grandfather was Dr Mirza Taj Baig, a doctor with the rank of Major and one of the first Indians to be a Commissioned Officer in the British Army. Constantine Gregory (born Constantine Liebert, September 16, 1942) is an American actor, dialect coach, and voice actor. Until 1983 he was usually credited as Constantin de Goguel. Life and career He was born of a Dutch father and Russian–born mother. On their divorce, he was given his mother's surname of de Goguel. His mother was born in 1920 in Sebastopol with the White Army during the Russian Civil War, and in 1925 was smuggled out to England, where she was brought up.
