Jeff Mirza
Jeffrey Mirza (born 3 February 1964) is an English stand-up comedian and actor of British-Pakistani descent. Early life Mirza was born and brought up in East End of London, England to Pakistani parents. His family are from the Punjab region of Pakistan and are of Mughal descent. His paternal grandfather was Dr Mirza Taj Baig, a doctor with the rank of Major and one of the first Indians to be a Commissioned Officer in the British Army. His paternal grandfather (Abdur Rehman Mirza) was a Zaildar (Headman for 40 villages) in the princely state of Jammu and Kashmir before the Partition. Mohamed Nasir Nabil Abdul Rashid bin Suleman Obineche, known as Nabil Abdulrashid (born 3 September 1985) is an English comedian of British Nigerian, Nigerian descent. In 2010, at the age of 25, he became the youngest black comedian to perform stand-up at the Hammersmith Apollo. Early life Abdulrashid was born in North London, England to a medical doctor father and a politician/businesswoman mother. During the 1940-1950s, Abdulrashid's father studied medicine in Soviet Union (now Russia), whilst the Soviets were training African doctors. Prince Abdi
Prince Abdi (born 21 July 1989) is a British stand-up comedian and actor. Early life Abdi was born in Somalia and immigrated to the United Kingdom with his family in the 1980s at the age of four. He was thereafter brought up in Brixton, London where he attended Walworth Secondary School. Abdi had football trials with Millwall F.C. and Dulwich Hamlet F.C. Underbelly (venue)
The Underbelly is a venue at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe off Cowgate. From 2001-2004, Underbelly was the only venue operated by Underbelly Limited. In 2005, Underbelly added the Baby Belly venue. In 2006, these venues were joined by the E4 UdderBELLY and the Reid Concert Hall, Cow Barn. History of the Underbelly Underbelly was first opened in 2000, as a small performance venue for five shows brought to the Fringe by Double Edge Drama. The Double Edge directors had heard of the venue through a production of ''Gargantua'', performed by the Scottish company, Grid Iron Theatre Company, Grid Iron in the vaults below the Central Library, Edinburgh, central library of Edinburgh. Islam Channel is a UK-based, free-to-air, English language, Islamic-focused satellite television channel and online media platform funded by advertising and donations.
