Indra Collini (born 6 December 1970 in Dornbirn) is an Austrian business economist and politician ( NEOS). Life Between 1990 and 1996 Collini studied business administration at the University of Innsbruck (degree: Magistra) and has since held various positions in marketing, including at Gasteiner, Vöslauer and Yuu'n Mee. In 2012 she volunteered for NEOS. A year later she became deputy state spokeswoman for NEOS in Lower Austria and in November 2016 succeeded Nikolaus Scherak as state spokeswoman. She has been a member of the extended board of NEOS Austria since 2016. In May 2017, Indra Collini was elected the top candidate at a general meeting in St. Pölten with 82.6 percent. When NEOS took office for the first time in Lower Austria in the 2018 state elections, it received 5.2 percent of the votes. The Landtag of Lower Austria is the state parliament of the Austrian state of Lower Austria. It exercises the state legislation (legislature). The seat of the Landtag is in St. Pölten in the Landhausviertel. The Lower Austrian Parliament is composed of 56 members of parliament. The term of office is five years. Elections are held in accordance with the Lower Austrian Landtag election regulations of 1992. 21 constituencies in Lower Austria correspond to the political districts. Brunn am Gebirge (Central Bavarian: ''Brunn aum Gebiage'') is a town in the district of Mödling in the Austrian state of Lower Austria. History Excavations from the Neolithic period show that the area was already inhabited 6000 BC and Brunn making it the earliest known farming settlement in Austria. Also Awarengräber that were found in Mödling, suggest that inhabited the area at that time already. Because of excavations, it is believed that the Roman settlement here was for veterans. 2023 Lower Austrian State Election
The 2023 Lower Austrian state election was held on 29 January 2023 to elect the members of the Landtag of Lower Austria, Landtag of Lower Austria. The ruling conservative Austrian People's Party, ÖVP lost almost 10 percentage points and received slightly less than 40 % of the vote, making it their worst election result in Lower Austria's history. As a result, the party also lost its absolute majority in the state parliament (23 of 56 seats, -9), as well as their absolute majority in the state government, losing two of their six seats. The center-left Social Democratic Party of Austria, SPÖ also had its worst election result in history, losing more than 3 percentage points and receiving 20.7 % of the vote. The 2018 Lower Austrian state election was held on 28 January 2018 to elect the members of the Landtag of Lower Austria. Dornbirn () is a city in the westernmost Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It is the administrative centre for the district of Dornbirn, which also includes the town of Hohenems, and the market town Lustenau.
