Indonesia Comic Con
Indonesia Comic Con is a comic-based convention held annually in Jakarta. Organized by Reed Panorama Exhibitions, the event was started in 2015. 2015 The first edition of the convention was held from 14–15 November 2015. Comic artist David Mack, Japanese actor Kenji Ohba and Italian artist Simone Legno were special guests at the event. 160 exhibitors from six countries had opened counters to entertain fans and sell merchandise. 2016 The second edition of the comic con was held from 1–2 October 2016. Actress Brianna Hildebrand, comic artists Alex Milne and Andy Price along with several other illustrators were present at the event. Exhibitors from countries like Canada, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the US and Indonesia participated in the event. Cosplay events were held by Lego and Flabslab, while toy outlets like XM Studios exhibited fan merchandise. Simone Legno
Simone Legno (born June 16, 1977) is an Italian artist best known for the creation of the tokidoki brand. Legno's designs are influenced by his interest in Japan and its culture, as well as street art and graffiti. Early life After dropping out of college, where he studied political science, Legno studied at the European Institute of Design in Rome. Legno built tokidoki as a personal website, not a company website, around 2001. While in school, he wanted his own website and was a fan of Japanese art and culture. He would go to Japanese cultural institutes and all of his art works were inspired by books from Lonely Planet, prints, Japanese art books and posters, everything was about Japan. Alex Milne is a Canadian comic book artist, best known for his work on various ''Transformers'' comic books. Career Graduating from Sheridan College, Milne debuted on the comics scene after being hired by Dreamwave Productions to pencil their '' Transformers: Energon'' series. Andy Price is an American comic artist, currently employed by IDW Publishing. He illustrates the '' My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic'' comic.
