Indianola Records is an American independent record label that mainly focuses on hardcore punk. Overview Indianola Records was founded in 1999 with the release of Life Before's "Reflections on Tomorrow". The label quickly gained worldwide recognition in 2001 with the release of Evergreen Terrace's '' Losing All Hope Is Freedom'' and subsequent releases. Indianola is run by its two active owners, John Giddens and Matt Shelton. Early history Originally envisioned as a studio and record label; Matt Shelton, Bo Barber, Michael Gibbs and Jeff Davis built a small studio into a family farm house of Shelton's in 1998. During this time they did demos for several Valdosta, Georgia bands under the name Black and Blue Studios, one of these bands was Life Before, an early wave melodic hardcore band fronted by John Giddens and guitarist Judson Parker (also of Cinema, Another Dying Friend, and French Connection fame). Fueled By Ramen
Fueled by Ramen LLC is an American record label owned by Warner Music Group and distributed by 300 Elektra Entertainment. The label, founded in Gainesville, Florida in 1996, is now based in New York City. History John Janick conceived of the label while attending high school, but it was not until he enrolled at the University of Florida in Gainesville and teamed up with Less Than Jake drummer-lyricist Vinnie Fiorello that Fueled By Ramen became a reality. The name of the label was inspired by only being able to afford a diet of inexpensive instant ramen at the time, due to having invested most of their money into making records. Ramen's first major success came in 1998 with the self-titled EP from Jimmy Eat World, which enabled the label to buy its first office space in Tampa. To Speak of Wolves is an American metalcore band from Greensboro, North Carolina, formed in 2007. The band has released three full-length studio albums, ''Myself Is Less Than Letting Go, Myself < Letting Go'', ''Find Your Worth, Come Home'', and ''Dead in the Shadow''. The band was founded by Phil Chamberlain, the brother of Underoath frontman and now the frontman for Sleepwave, Spencer Chamberlain, Aaron Shelton and Chris Shelton formerly of the Human Flight Committee, Drew Fulk, and Matthew Goldfarb.

Underoath (stylized as Underøath or UnderOath) is an American rock band from Tampa, Florida. It was founded by lead vocalist Dallas Taylor and guitarist Luke Morton on November 30, 1997, in Ocala, Florida; subsequently, its additional members were from Tampa, including drummer, clean vocalist and last remaining core member Aaron Gillespie. Luxor Records is an American record label located in Los Angeles, California. Background Luxor Records was co-founded by Aaron Bridgewater (lead vocals) and Nick Morris (lead guitarist), of As They Sleep. Oh, Manhattan
Oh, Manhattan is a post-hardcore band from Georgia. Previously signed to Indianola Records History Oh, Manhattan originally formed in 2009 in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, United States, by members of various local acts. The name "Oh, Manhattan" was derived from a song written by original vocalist Donny Thomas about The Manhattan Project . Their first self-released EP was entitled "We're All Sons Of Bitches Now" which was a play on words spoken by Kenneth Bainbridge in reference to the first atom bomb. All Shall Perish was an American deathcore band from Oakland, California, formed in 2002. The band was signed to Nuclear Blast and have released four full-length albums through the label. Gunmetal Grey
Gunmetal Grey was an American thrashcore band that was formed in 2002 as a side project of some San Francisco Bay area hardcore veterans. It was formed by Stephen Lauck (of Hoods) and drummer Brandon Thomas (of S.E.E.D.). They currently have one album out, titled ''Solitude''. Gunmetal Grey's sound was inspired by bands such as Metallica and At the Gates. Biography In 2003, the only members at the time were Stephen Lauck and Brandon Thomas. This eventually led to the recruitment of both vocalist Eddie Hermida and lead guitarist Brandon Scot into the band. At that point Gunmetal Grey sought fit to continue the production of their first album titled 'Solitude' only after bassist Andrew Smith was added to the band. Forgiven Rival was an Australian post-hardcore band from Melbourne, Victoria. The band play a blend of post-hardcore and melodic rock. History After forming in early 2005, the band proceeded to release their debut two-track self-titled demo later that year, which they recorded with Antiskeptic frontman Andrew Kitchen. Loma Prieta (translates to "Dark Hill") is an American hardcore punk band that formed in 2005. The group is based in San Francisco, California and derived their name from the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. Most of the group's early material was released on their own record label named Discos Huelga. Loma Prieta has toured the US, Mexico, Canada, Europe and Japan. They share members with Punch. Their often dark and emotionally charged music blends a range of styles, most prominently screamo and powerviolence.
