Indian School Muladha
Indian School Muladha is an English Medium Secondary School, started in 1991, in a small building with 9 teachers and 90 students. It is now one of the largest interior schools in the Sultanate of Oman with around 2000 students and around 80 staff including teaching and non-teaching. Location The school is 120 kilometres away from Muscat on the Muscat-Dubai highway in the South Batinah region. English-medium Education
An English-medium education system is one that uses English as the primary medium of instruction—particularly where English is not the mother tongue of the students. Initially this is associated with the expansion of English from its homeland in England and the lowlands of Scotland and its spread to the rest of Great Britain and Ireland, beginning in the sixteenth century. Desert
A desert is a barren area of landscape where little precipitation occurs and, consequently, living conditions are hostile for plant and animal life. Batinah
Al-Bāţinah ( ar, ٱلْبَاطِنَة) was one of the regions ''( Mintaqat)'' of Oman. On 28 October 2011, Al-Batinah Region was split into Al Batinah North Governorate and Al Batinah South Governorate. The region occupied an important location on the coast of Gulf of Oman. It lay between Khatmat Malahah in the north and Ras al-Hamra in the south, and confined between Al Hajar Mountains in the west and the Gulf of Oman in the east. Most of Oman's population were in that region, because of the green plains between the Hajar Mountains and the sea. Al Batinah Region contained the largest number of provinces (''wilayat''), numbering twelve: Sohar, Ar Rustaq, Shinas, Liwa, Saham, Al-Khaburah, Suwayq, Nakhal, Wadi Al Maawil, Al Awabi, Al-Musannah, Barka. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by the Government of India. Established in 1929 by a resolution of the government, the Board was an experiment towards inter-state integration and cooperation in the sphere of secondary education.
