Yashobhoomi (lit. Land of Fame) is a convention center located in Sector 25, Dwarka, Delhi, India. It is the largest convention center by area in both India and Asia, and also among the world's largest MICE facilities. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid Yashobhoomi's foundation stone on 20 September 2018. Construction began on the following day and was expected to be completed by September 2022 so that Yashobhoomi could host the G20 Summit in 2023. However, labour shortages and slowdowns in work caused by the COVID-19 pandemic delated completion to 15 September 2023. Yashobhoomi was inaugurated by Modi on 17 September 2023. The 2023 G20 Delhi summit ( Hindi: 2023 G20 दिल्ली शिखर सम्मेलन) is the upcoming eighteenth meeting of Group of Twenty (G20), a summit scheduled to take place in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi in 2023. India's presidency began on 1 December 2022, leading up to the summit in the fourth quarter of 2023. Sky Lobby
A sky lobby is an intermediate interchange floor in a skyscraper where people can change from an express elevator that stops only at the sky lobby to a local elevator that stops at a subset of higher floors. When designing supertall buildings, supplying enough elevators is a problem – travellers wanting to reach a specific higher floor may conceivably have to stop at a very large number of other floors on the way up to let other passengers off and on. This increases travel time, and indirectly requires many more elevator shafts to still allow acceptable travel times – thus reducing effective floor space on each floor for ''all'' levels. Rangoli is an art form that originates from in the Indian subcontinent, in which patterns are created on the floor or a tabletop using materials such as powdered lime stone, red ochre, dry rice flour, coloured sand, quartz powder, flower petals, and coloured rocks.
