Ina Clare
Ina Clare (1932/33 – 30 October 2010) was a British television actress, best known for her role as the background character Ina Foot in the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders''. Clare also had roles in ''French and Saunders'', ''Blake's 7'' and ''In Sickness and in Health''. She was born in Windsor, Berkshire Windsor is a historic market town and unparished area in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in Berkshire, England. It is the site of Windsor Castle, one of the official residences of the British monarch. The town is situated west of ..., and got her first job as a dancer in a pantomime at the Theatre Royal in Windsor at the age of sixteen. She suffered a cerebral haemorrhage and collapsed on the set of ''EastEnders'' on 28 October 2010 and died two days later, at the age of 77. The ''Maidenhead Advertiser'' is a weekly local paper which has been published in the Berkshire town of Maidenhead since 1869. It is an independent publication run by the family firm Baylis Media Ltd, and is unique in that it is owned by a charitable trust, the Louis Baylis (Maidenhead Advertiser) Charitable Trust, which contributes large donations to the community.
