"In Private" is a song by British singer Dusty Springfield, released as a single on 20 November 1989. It was Springfield's third single in a row to be a chart success, after an absence of nearly two decades from the charts. Both "In Private" and Springfield's previous single, "Nothing Has Been Proved" were produced by Pet Shop Boys, who helped return Springfield to prominence with their 1987 hit collaboration "What Have I Done to Deserve This? (song), What Have I Done to Deserve This?". Both Springfield singles were included on her 1990 British album ''Reputation (Dusty Springfield album), Reputation''. Releases and chart performances "In Private" peaked at #14 in the British charts. It was a top ten hit in West Germany, the Netherlands, Israel, Belgium and Sweden. Mary Isobel Catherine Bernadette O'Brien (16 April 1939 – 2 March 1999), known professionally as Dusty Springfield, was an English singer. With her distinctive mezzo-soprano sound, she was a popular singer of blue-eyed soul, Pop music, pop and dramatic Ballad, ballads, with chanson, French chanson, Country music, country, and Jazz music, jazz also in her repertoire. ''Cameo'' is the eighth studio album released by singer Dusty Springfield, released in 1973. Writing and recording The album was recorded in the United States between July and October 1972. ''Cameo'' was produced by Steve Barri, Dennis Lambert and Brian Potter who later went on to write and produce major hits for among others Glen Campbell, The Four Tops and The Tavares. Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. Liliane Saint-Pierre (born Liliane Louise Keuninckx, 18 December 1948) is a Belgian pop singer. Hailing from Flanders, she sings mostly in Dutch. Sahara Hotnights
Sahara Hotnights are a Swedish rock band from Robertsfors, Sweden. Their style incorporates elements of garage rock, power pop and punk. History The band formed sometime around 1991/1992, "due to boredom". While in Australia, Josephine Forsman bet on a horse named Sahara Hotnights and used the name for the band. Around 1995, they won a "battle of the bands" contest and were awarded with a chance to record their songs in studio. Their debut EP, ''Suits Anyone Fine'', was released in 1997 to immediate success and critical acclaim in Europe. Nouveau Riche (Swedish Band)
Nouveau Riche (NR) was a musical group which included Ulrich Bermsjö and Dominika Peczynski, who was later replaced by Camilla Brink. The group was created by Bermsjö and Peczynski, an ex-member of Army Of Lovers, in 2005. Their debut single "Oh Lord", written by Bermsjö and Mattias Lindblom together with Anders Wollbeck from Vacuum, was released in November 2005. It was followed by the single "Hardcore Life", after which Peczynski decided to leave the band. While for a short period the future of Nouveau Riche seemed uncertain, Pick Up Music announced the group would continue with Camilla Brink replacing Peczynski. The first single with Camilla in the group was "Angels", and the debut album "Pink Trash" was subsequently released. Their website and Myspace page make no mention of Peczynski or the fact that there have been two previous singles before "Angels" and when Camilla joined the group. The album consists of B-sides from various singles released from 1996 to 2009 ('' Bilingual'' through '' Yes'', or "Before" to " Did You See Me Coming?"). It is their second B-sides album after ''Alternative'' (1995), which collected B-sides from the time of their first version of "Opportunities (Let's Make Lots of Money)" (1985) through "Yesterday, When I Was Mad" (1994). The album's release was initially announced in November 2011, then officially on 19 December 2011 through the Pet Shop Boys' official website, offering it for pre-order. The album was released on 6 February 2012 in the UK, but was released earlier in various territories worldwide, including Australia, where it was released on 3 February.
