Imam Sahib District
Imam Sahib District () is situated in the northern part of Kunduz Province, Afghanistan. It borders with Qalay-I-Zal District to the west, Tajikistan to the north (along the Panj river), with Archi District to the east and Kunduz District to the south. It has an estimated population of 232,846 as of 2021,https://www.nsia.gov.af:8080/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Estimated-Population-of-Afghanistan1-1400.pdf (p. 93) which include ethnic Uzbeks at 45%, Pashtuns at 25%, Tajiks at 25% and Hazaras at 1%. The district center is the town of Imam Sahib, located in the northern part of the district. The other main town in the district is Sher Khan Bandar, which serves as Afghanistan's main port of entry to Tajikistan. The district is one of the richest in Afghanistan. Baghlan Province
Baghlan (Dari: ''Baġlān'') is one of the thirty-four provinces of Afghanistan. It is in the north of the country. As of 2020, the province has a population of about 1,014,634. Its capital is Puli Khumri, but its name comes from the other major town in the province, Baghlan. The ruins of a Zoroastrian fire temple, the Surkh Kotal, are located in Baghlan. The town's main attraction is the Sher Khan Bandar, which is a dry port and border checkpoint that officially connects by road Afghanistan with Tajikistan. Hazaras
The Hazaras ( fa, , Həzārə; haz, , Āzərə) are an ethnic group and the principal component of the population of Afghanistan, native to, and primarily residing in the Hazaristan (Hazarajat) region in central Afghanistan and generally scattered throughout Afghanistan. Kunduz District () is situated in the center of Kunduz Province in Northern Afghanistan, around the provincial capital - the city of Kunduz.
