Ilze Bērziņa
Ilze Bērziņa (born 4 January 1984 in Rīga) is a Latvian chess player who holds the title of Woman Grandmaster (2009). She won the Latvian Chess Championship for women in 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2019. Porto Carras (Greek: Πόρτο Καρράς), known as Porto Carras Grand Resort, is one of northern Greece's largest and most famous hotels and holiday resorts. It is located on Sithonia, Chalkidiki peninsula in Macedonia, Greece. It is about 120 km away from Greece's second-biggest city, Thessaloniki. The European Team Championship (often abbreviated in texts and games databases as ''ETC'') is an international team chess event, eligible for the participation of European nations whose chess federations are located in zones 1.1 to 1.9. The 41st Chess Olympiad ( no, Den 41. Sjakkolympiade), organised by the FIDE, Fédération Internationale des Échecs (FIDE) and comprising an open and women's tournament, as well as several events designed to promote the game of chess, took place in Tromsø, Norway, between 1–14 August 2014.
