Ilova is a river in central Croatia, a left tributary of the Sava. It is long and its basin covers an area of . Ilova rises in the hilly areas of eastern Bilogora, south of Virovitica and Suhopolje, and flows towards the southwest, forming a series of lakes near Veliki Zdenci. It turns to the south near Garešnica, where there are another set of lakes at the confluence with the river Toplica that rises in Papuk. Sava
The Sava (; , ; sr-cyr, Сава, hu, Száva) is a river in Central and Southeast Europe, a right-bank and the longest tributary of the Danube. It flows through Slovenia, Croatia and along its border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, and finally through Serbia, feeding into the Danube in its capital, Belgrade. The Sava forms the main northern limit of the Balkan Peninsula, and the southern edge of the Pannonian Plain. The Sava is long, including the Sava Dolinka headwater rising in Zelenci, Slovenia. Bilogora
Bilogora (Bilo-gora, or ''Bilogorje'', ''Bilo-gorje'') is a low mountainous range in Central Croatia. It consists of a series of hills and small plains some 80 kilometres in length stretching in the direction northwest-southeast, along the southwest part of the Podravina region. The highest peak is called Rajčevica (309 m), located in the north of the mountain. The area lends its name to the Bjelovar-Bilogora County, one of the 21 counties of Croatia with its seat in the nearby town of Bjelovar. The mountain is also located in the Koprivnica-Križevci County as well as the Virovitica-Podravina County. Virovitica
Virovitica () is a Croatian city near the Hungarian border. It is situated near the Drava river and belongs to the historic region of Slavonia. Virovitica has a population of 14,688, with 21,291 people in the municipality (census 2011). It is also the capital of Virovitica-Podravina County. Garešnica
Garešnica is a town in Bjelovar-Bilogora County, Croatia. It is located in the geographical region of Moslavina. There are a total of 10,472 inhabitants, of whom 85% are Croats. Garešnica is located in central Croatia at the foot of Moslavačka gora mountain, northeast of Kutina, on the crossroad of D45 (Kutina – Veliki Zdenci) and D26 (Vrbovec – Daruvar) state roads. It was first mentioned in 1527. The church ''Visitation of Our Lady'' was built in 1752 and has still a lot of original inventory. Papuk
Papuk is the largest mountain in the Slavonia region in eastern Croatia, near the city of Požega. It extends between Bilogora to the northwest, Krndija to the east, and Ravna gora and Psunj to the southwest. The highest peak is the eponymous peak at 953 m.a.A. The area of Papuk is designated a nature park (''park prirode''), a kind of protected area in Croatia. At the seventh European Geopark Network Open Conference, hosted by North West Highlands Geopark in September 2007, the Papuk Geopark became the first Croatian Geopark and 30th member of the European and UNESCO Global Geoparks Network. Kutina
Kutina is a town in central Croatia, the largest settlement in the hilly region of Moslavina, in the Sisak-Moslavina County. Lonjsko Polje (English: ''Lonja Field'') is the largest protected wetland in both Croatia and the entire Danube basin. It covers an area of , extending along the river Sava from the areas east of Sisak, the lower course of the river Lonja for which it is named, to the areas west of Nova Gradiška, along the course of the river Veliki Strug. Lonja is a river in central Croatia, a left tributary of the Sava. It is long and its basin covers an area of . The Lonja rises in the Kalnik mountain in northern Croatia, southeast of Novi Marof, at . It flows westward until turning south near Breznički Hum, passing east of Sveti Ivan Zelina, and turning southeast near Sveta Helena. East of Lupoglav, it turns south again, passing through Ivanić-Grad and nearing the river Sava.
