Ilona Mitrecey (born 1 September 1993 in Fontenay-aux-Roses, Hauts-de-Seine) (more commonly known as Ilona) is a retired French singer. Biography Ilona always dreamed of becoming a stuntwoman or filmmaker. Her parents knew an Italian music producer who was looking for a kid to record a song in French for the Italian market and asked Ilona. A few years after, the record label decided to release the song in France and that's when Ilona became famous. She became famous in France after the release of her hit single, "Un Monde parfait" ("A Perfect World"), a high-energy eurodance song which had already been released in Italy in March 2004 under the name 'Très Bien featuring Ilona', on 28 February 2005. The song reached #1 on France's SNEP charts on 6 March 2005, and stayed on top of the charts for 15 weeks. Her second single, " C'est les vacances", was released on 20 June 2005. Fontenay-aux-Roses () is a Communes of France, commune in the southwestern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located from the Kilometre Zero, center of Paris. It was the fifth and last single from her debut album ''Un Monde Parfait'' and was released in the first days of April 2006. It had much less success than the previous four singles, but it managed to reach the top ten in France. Lyrics and music The lyrics were written and the music composed by Laurent Jeanne, Dan Mitrecey, Philippe Pelet and Olivier Perrot. The song is about the social networking opportunities and convenience brought to the singer's life by her mobile telephone. In the song, Ilona enumerates eight first names of girls who apparently are her friends. As the title suggests it, it is a Christmas song and it hit the top ten in France and Belgium (Wallonia). Background and lyrics The song was composed in Italy and in France by Laurent Jeanne, Mixivan and Domydee and produced by Ivan Russo. Maïlis Mitrecey, Ilona's sister, participated in the background vocals. In the song, Ilona explains she likes to travel in her rocket and mentions various stars and planets. Based on a traditional Neapolitan song, it was the first single from her debut album ''Un Monde parfait'' and was released in February 2005.
